Celebrating over 25 years in Bay Ridge

Home grown dentist, Michael Chistopher Tepedino, has celebrated twenty �ve years of private dental practice here, in Bay Ridge.

Dr. Tepedino was born in the Bay Ridge Hospital in 1964. His parents, Carmine and Gelsomina are proud immigrants from Padula, Italy. He has two sisters, Rosetta a physical therapist, Elvira an attorney and a brother Gerard, a nephrologist.

Dr. Tepedino attended St. Anselm's Elementary School and Xaverian High School. He was accepted toNew York University's seven year combined BNDDS program and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery

degree in 1989. He completed a one year GP Residency at Lutheran Medical Center.Dr. Tepedino began his �rst "career" shortly after graduating from Xaverian. He joined the BRAVO

Volunteer Ambulance Service. Volunteering as a dispatcher, he became certi�ed as an Emergency Medical Technician. He served as their president from 1989 through 1992 and as Chairman of the Board of Directors for four years. He was awarded Life-Time Membership, the organization's highest award for his continued dedication and contribution to the corps. "I strongly believe it is up to each and every one of us to help make our communities better and safer," he says, we cannot wait for or depend on others to do that for us." He looks back at his time at BRAVO with pride and satisfaction and added, "I am grateful for all that BRAVO has taught me about administering a large organization, for all of the very close friendships that I have made through BRAVO and for all of the lives that I have been able to touch while serving."

Dr. Tepedino was recognized for his service to our community two years ago by being made a King of Kings County by the publishers of this paper.

Dr. Tepedino met his beautiful wife, Yiselle Castillo, while he was preparing to graduate dental school. She was just beginning her dental training at NYU. Michael proposed marriage on her graduation day and they were married in 1994. Dr. Castillo went on to train as a Periodontal Surgeon and practices in New York City.

Above all of his accomplishments, Dr. Tepedino is most proud of his two beautiful sons, Christopher and Alexander. �ey are both a source of ultimate joy. �ey are constant reminders of how wonderful life can be and how important it is to not let all of the twists and turns we experience in life divert us from what truly makes us happy.

Dr. Tepedino enjoys spending his days caring for the patients in his Bay Ridge dental o�ce. He has alway enjoyed making people mile, now he does it for a living .

Located in historic Floyd Bennett Field for over ten years Aviator Sports and Events Center has become the hub for athletes of all ages and party goers in Brooklyn. Indoors, the 175,000 sq. ft. facility includes instructional sports, sports leagues, recreational activities, events spaces for parties and groups of all sizes, as well as a sports performance center, gymnastics center, 2 NHL sized ice rinks, 20,000 sq. ft �eld house, a full-service sports restaurant, snack bar and catering services for everything from birthday parties to weddings. The outdoor facilities include two multisport outdoor turf �elds, 2 poosl, an outdoor bar and event spaces.
