Troop Starting Order Bonus

‘Seas the Day’ Tee ShirtTroops with a starting order PGA (per girl average for girls selling) of 150 boxes will receive a tee shirt for each selling girl, plus 2 for adults. The Troop Cookie Manager must allocate 1 box of Thin Mints to each participating girl in eBudde when they place the starting order on January 8, 2018. The troop TCM must also go to the Reward Tab in eBudde and fill out the Initial Order Reward information and submit it by January 8. The tee shirts should arrive with the troop Starting Order cookies.

2018 Reward Information & Descriptions

How Can Girls Use Reward Cards?Reward Cards can be used at GSNorCal retail stores and qualifying events, such as:

• Council Program Events & Council Travel

• SU Camporees or Events

• Council Camps/Day Camps

• GSUSA destinations Programs

Rewards Cards are submitted at the time of usage.

Reward Card Usage for Older GirlsGirls in grades 6-12 who are members of a troop with a council-approved Trip and/or High-Adventure activity may request that all or part of their Reward Card(s) be converted to troop proceeds for deposit into their troop account.

Girls in grades 9-12 who are members of a troop and working on approved Gold Award projects with approved budgets, may use Reward Cards to fund their Gold Award project. Both of these conversion requests must be done through a democratic process in which the troop agrees on fund usage for the council-approved outing or Gold Award.

600+ Event - Make a Splash!Join the Girl Scouts of Northern California as we celebrate YOU on June 9th at Raging Waters in San Jose or June 16th at Roseville Sunsplash for a day of waves, water slides, and fun in the sun! Enjoy free admission to the water park and a BBQ lunch for the qualifying girl, her adult chaperone, and a guest.

750+ Event - Kayak Adventure ExperienceGirls selling 750 or more boxes can earn a Kayak Adventure Experience! You will get to choose from one of four following locations. Each location will offer programing that will get you in a kayak, on the water, and having fun! The dates and times are as follows with invitation and registration details to come.

Disneyland Turn n’ Burn TripGirls who sell 1250 or more boxes will take a chaperone with her on a trip to Disneyland. Buses will leave from various locations in the late evening on July 13, 2018. On Saturday July 14, girls will start their morning with special hands on Performing Arts classes at Disney Studios. After a 60-90 minute class girls will join their chaperone to experience all that Disneyland has to offer.

Meal with MarinaJoin GSNorCal CEO Marina Park for a special lunch celebrating girls who sell 2000 boxes or more. Girls will share their cookie selling secrets to success and other Girl Scout experiences in this informal group setting. Invites will go out at the end of the sale.

Dolphin Discovery at Six Flags Discovery KingdomGirls who sell 2500 boxes or more will spend quality time swimming with these amazing marine mammals in a rare hands-on learning session. The Dolphin Discovery program begins with a fun and informative classroom session followed by an in-the-water interaction with the dolphins. Parents will arrange a date with Discovery Kingdom that works for them.

Camp RocksGirls selling 3000 boxes or more will be able to choose to attend one camp session of her choice, free of charge. Girls need to sign up for camp in advance to reserve their spot, and Council will reimburse the deposit paid by parents after the cookie sale.
