Syracuse Youth Lacrosse (SYLAX) is a parent-run not-for-profit sports club supporting boys and girls from

kindergarten through eighth grade in Syracuse, Utah and surrounding areas. Lacrosse is the fastest

growing sport in the country and here is Utah. Originally called the Snipers, the Syracuse Titans were

started in 2012 with about 30 boys between 3rd and 6th grade. Over the last six years the club has

continued to grow supporting nearly 100 players of all ages.

alternative to the standard sports offerings. One that combines the best aspects of many

popular sports.

• Develop a respect for the history and traditions of Lacrosse while fostering a sense of self-worth

and value in every youth.

• Increase resources available to parents to assist them in supporting their young athlete.

• Create programs and activities that embrace culture and diversity, promote unity and support

youth into the future.

• Create a sustainable club that supports both developmental and competition-level players in a

safe, supportive and respectful environment

Respect: We demonstrate respect for ourselves, our game, our teammates, our coaches, our

parents, the officials, our competitors and all spectators.

Character: We represent SYLAX and the broader lacrosse community on and off the field in

everything we do and hold ourselves to the highest standards.

Community: We are members of many communities and support those communities through service

and actions.

Achievement: We give everything we have to be the best we can on the field and in all areas of our

lives including our homes, schools, and communities.


We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the athletic and character development of youth in

grades K-8 in Syracuse and the surrounding North Davis County communities. Your sponsorship will go

toward providing services and obtaining supplies and equipment needed to serve our players. Your

contribution will also provide scholarships to participants who require financial assistance to participate

in our program.

Please review the sponsorship levels below and choose the one that best fits you and your company. If

you are not able to commit to donate at one of the defined sponsorship levels, we encourage you to

contribute an amount that is right for you. Any contribution is sincerely appreciated. Please don’t

SYLAX also wants to make sure we are not just asking for a donation, we want to partner with you to put

your sponsorship to work by driving customers to you. All of our packages are designed to bring

attention to your generous sponsorship and support of our club but also awareness of your business.

We will ask you for a unique offering we can share with our players and their families, as well as all the

spectators that come to our home fields.

During our Spring Season we are projecting 20-25 homes games from March through end of May with

50-100 spectators at each game.

This is a lacrosse term that indicates a player running from one end of the field all the way to the other and scoring a goal. Very

rare and highly celebrated!

• Your company will have the option of providing promotional material that can be distributed to

our families and guests at every home game and through email weekly.

• To maximize your business exposure, your company’s logo will be printed on the SYLAX sponsor

banner and displayed at each home game.

• Your company will be highlighted weekly on our social media sites (Facebook & Instagram) for

one year.

• Your company logo and a link to your business website will be added to each page of our

website, including a detailed summary of your company on our “Sponsors” page at

www.syracuselacrosse.org.

• You will receive a team plaque that can be displayed at your place of business.

• You will receive a sponsor t-shirt to wear and highlight your support in the community.

When a defensive player “checks” an offensive players stick with such force the offensive player drops the ball and their own

stick. A favorite play for players and spectators, it really energizes a game!

• Your company provided promotional material will be distributed to our families and guests at 10

home games.

Much like other sports an assist is the last pass that sets up a goal.

Your company name or website address will be *displayed on the club uniforms for two years (Spring

2018 – Fall 2019). This gives you exposure not only at home games but all 50-70 games per year (spring

and fall) the teams will play in over the next two years.

*Your logo or web-address will be “prominent” and as the sponsor you will have input in the visual

aesthetic and design but final approval of the uniform will be provided by the SYLAX Board.

“Shooter Shirts” (warm-up shirts worn to games but under their pads and jersey) or other t-shirts worn

by players and parents have more flexibility. This sponsorship will get you 100 t-shirts co-branded with

your logo and SYLAX.

There are many other options for apparel including embroidered beanies, baseball hats, rain jackets,

hoodies, etc. that we could also co-brand and distribute to players and parents. Based on your

preference, we would have to customize the pricing of these options.

If you have a product or service that you would like to offer as “in-kind” support, let’s talk! We would

offer equal representation and options for the packages above for comparable “retail value” of your

product or service.
