    In an effort to conserve electricity, we respectfully request all patrons playing tennis during the evening to turn off the lights before leaving. If your group is the last to leave the courts, please turn off the lights by manually turning the lights off on the light switch. The light switches are located next to the pavilion on the side near Wilton Deli or on the gate of Courts 7 & 8. We thank you for your cooperation!

    INFORMATION LINE

    Information regarding program cancellations and/or other general program information will be announced and updated, as needed, by the Wilton Parks and Recreation staff. To find out the status of any Parks and Recreation event or program at any time of day, please call (203) 454-5188 and listen for the recorded message.

    WILTON DIAL-A-RIDE PROGRAM (Hours of Operation: 9:15 AM - 3:45 PM)

    This town service provides van transportation for Wilton seniors and disabled individuals to destinations within town boundaries. This service is available Monday through Friday from 9:15 AM to 3:45 PM year round, excluding town holidays and during inclement weather. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance by calling (203) 834-6235 ext. 1. Fee: $2.00 per round trip.

    NORWALK DIAL-A-RIDE PROGRAM

    The Town of Wilton provides a second van that travels from Wilton to selected points in Norwalk. This service runs two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9:15 AM to 3:45 PM. The cost for a round trip to Norwalk is $4.00.

    Low Intermediate/Intermediate: Players are starting to keep the ball in play, learning to serve, can volley and are learning court positioning. Players can hit with some spin and rally consistently.

    A fantastic first soccer experience for young children! It is a fun introduction to the sport through a series of exciting, stimulating soccer games in a safe, enjoyable environment.     THE PEN-STARS SERIES- STORY CLUB GRADES K TO 5TH

    SPRING CONDITIONING AT MIDDLEBROOK GRADES 6TH 8TH

    We offer a low-tech environment where children are encouraged to connect with their true selves, discover their talents and bring it out. We incorporate drama, art, and brain-stimulating games and activities to foster our Pen-Stars' unique gifts and enhance their creative, writing (including spelling and vocabulary), presentation, and public speaking skills in a fun and innovative way. Our hands-on activities are designed with children's needs, interests, and skill levels in mind, with the goal to have intramural/inter-school competitions for kids up for a challenge.     This program is geared to players in Middle school who want to improve their fitness base and agility. The program will teach form drills and develop cardiovascular, muscular and core endurance. There will be warm up, followed by dynamic drills and a workout. After the workout is completed there will be a cool down, which will include flexibility and stretching.     If you love basketball, this program is for you. Coach Mike will introduce the basic fundamentals of basketball. Learning will be at an easy and fun pace. He will continue the basic fundamentals throughout the different classes. Game play and game skills will also be taught.

    This program is designed for 4 weeks and is offered once a week, on Wednesdays (session #1) It consists of 1 clay and 3 pottery painting instructional classes. Our dedicated instructors are looking forward to leading young artists step-by-step through creative world of pottery art. All projects inspired by seasonal holidays and special days. (6 dates for Session #2) Featuring decorative pottery techniques are: Blending, Sponging, Handprint, Coiling & Stamping. All paints, bisque & clay are non-toxic, lead free and food safe.

    SUMMER CAMPS

    COOL TOTS AGES 3 - 6

    Each week children will explore a different theme (bugs, fairytales, night, ocean life) through story, crafts, games, and cooking. Special events and water play are incorporated into each week. Be prepared to get wet and dirty! Participants must be potty trained. Snack will be provided and children should bring a lunch. Please send child dressed in bathing suits and sunscreen. Limited enrollment! Non-residents add $10 to each session.

    The Summer Series program run by IST Sports Headquarters Pro staff is geared towards general skills and professional instruction. Hitting, fielding, throwing, catching, base running and how to react in real game situations. These clinics are a great way for all players in this age group to continue to develop and play ball during the summer under the guidance of professional coaches. Program can be once or twice a week for 7 weeks

    These courses are designed for 8-12 year olds and 14-18 year old students. There are beginner courses up to the intermediate level student and may be used for recreational fencing as well as a steppingstone to competitive fencing.     Wilton Parks and Recreation offers adult softball league for men, women and co-ed teams.     SUMMER CAMP Drobots Company YOUTH Intro to Drone Flying Missions: (Grades 1st- 2nd ): Designed for campers with little to no experience flying drones. We use the safest and most reliable drone products on the market, including the Parrot drones for enhanced safety and most of all, fun. Campers will learn the basics of drone technology and safety before taking to the air. Through the use of iPad flight simulators and clear instructions on basic flying maneuvers, young Drobots pilots will experience a program filled with excitement, games, and learning. Campers work all week long to prepare for the most enjoyable part of the week: the Ultimate Drone Games that include events such as: Tic-Tac-Drone, Drone Darts, and Duck-Duck-Drone. All campers go home with interactive workbooks and plenty of Drobots Company keepsakes and trinkets so the memories last long beyond the summer.. Full Day 9 AM 3 PM July 23rd to July 27th Ultimate Drone Obstacle Challenge: (Grades 3rd 5th) This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. This is week is filled with pure action as students enjoy one of the worlds fastest growing sports, Drone Obstacle Racing. Campers will first learn about the basic safety of drone flying and the history behind drone racing as a sport. Campers will use iPads and remote controls to navigate the drone through short and long obstacle courses. Participants will also create the design and help build the the obstacle course in preparation for the last days final activity and competition. Full Day 9 AM 3 PM July 23rd to July 27th Drone Superhero Missions: (Grades 3rd 5th) This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. Our instructors will open the creative minds of participants as campers attack and defend against Super Heroes and Villains. Students will begin the week learning basic maneuvers before using their Spidey-Sense to conquer missions such as: Daredevil in Distress; Batmans Drone Mobile Escape, The Breakout of Iron Man and more. Participants will storyboard their own escape missions while other students attempt to outsmart them using the drone to locate and capture. Drone safety and the social responsibilities of flying drones are included in this program. Life skills will be taught to new pups including the basic commands, such as heel, sit, down, stay and come when called. The following are just a few of the activities your campers will do; construct an electro-magnet, electro-plate a coin, wire circuits, make silly putty, test chemicals, make chalk, create a submarine, build a bug, meet giant insects, touch real skulls, dig for real fossils, erupt a volcano, and assemble & launch a rocket 1000 feet into the air.
