Hiking ClubGet out and take in some fresh air. The Ott YMCA hosts monthly hikes and walks throughout Tucson during our cooler months. Locations range and all levels are welcome. Please register at the front desk to ensure your spot. Most hikes/walks are 2 to 3 hours.

Pickle BallPickleball is a cross a between tennis, table tennis and badminton. It is played on a court slightly smaller than a tennis court with wooden paddles and a plastic whiffle ball. The object of the game is to hit the ball so that your opponent is unable to hit it back over the net. Pick up games are played Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 9 am.

RecreationSo many activities serve to restore our spirits and energy, get us outdoors and test our limits. And for many of us, they’re the foundation of active living and rewarding relationships. Cycling, running, racquetball, swimming and many more recreational activities are available at your Y. Instruction, lessons and group trips are likely part of the mix, so it may be time for you to try something new.

Adult Skate Session Skaters must be a member or purchase a Skate Park Monthly Pass and must be 18 years or older. Full pads and helmet are required. Skaters under 18 years of age are only permitted to skate when accompanied by an adult skater. Sunday adult skate has an acting attendant. Please enter through north gate of the skate park.

Adult Team SportsWhether you miss “suiting up” or are new to team sports, the Y’s sports leagues provide a perfect opportunity to be active, social and reconnect or start fresh with a sport you love. Basketball, pickle-ball and tennis are just some of the options available to get you back on the court or on the field.

We emphasize good sportsmanship, fitness, fair play, fundamentals and fun while implementing our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Volleyball ClinicYour child will learn and build on the fundamentals of volleyball skills in a fun and positive environment. Each week, players will focus on a different skill set to help them learn the game.

Skateboard LessonsThis class is for boys and girls ages 7 and older and includes lessons on basic safety, board maintenance, simple moves and skills, and the YMCA character values. Student must provide equipment (skateboard, helmet, elbow and knee pads). No previous skate experience needed.

OTT WOMEN'S CLUB

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Each year, we ask our members to help us raise money so we can send 100 kids to camp during the summer. The Ott YMCA raised more than $180,000 last year and was able to

provide hundreds of families and kids with a YMCA memorable experience.

We start by asking our staff to give, then we ask our board to give. Now it is your turn. This year we will be challenging our members to help us raise $20,000 to send 200 kids to

camp!

MY Y WEEKSTARTS FEBRUARY 11

The Women’s Club will meet every Thursday when school is in session. The goal of the club has always been and will be to support the Ott Y youth programs. There are exciting programs planned for the new year, pot lucks,

games, speakers, demonstrations and more! Oh yes, you can help with our fun fundraisers!

The club meets every Thursday at 10 am.
