Wow, I can’t believe it is already August and
summer is almost over and Fall is just around the
corner. We still have lots to come for the
remainder of the year for BGCA!!!
The Habitat for Humanity, Love Your Neighborhood
Project, will be September 21st. We are looking
for volunteers and will have signup sheets at the
August meeting. This is just one more way that we,
Bluegrass Claims Association, are giving back to
our community.
We have our Christmas party coming up on
December 13th, and as always, we are planning on
having a great time and raise money for another
worthy cause, the Salvation Army Food Angel
Tree. The past two years we raised over $5000.00
and we were recognized at a luncheon again this
year given by The Salvation Army. Let’s see if we
can exceed that amount again this year.

Our Charity for August is the Wounded Warrior Project. Every warrior has a next mission. We know that the transition to civilian life is a journey. And for every warrior, family member, and caregiver, that journey looks different.
We are here for their first step, and each step that follows. Because we believe that
every warrior should have a positive future to look forward to. There’s always another
goal to achieve, another mission to discover. We are their partner in that mission.
The BGCA would like to thank WMR Defense for sponsoring the

not be able to provide the educational and social benefits of the
BGCA to our members and their guests.
