Introduc on  Since 2001, Tashjian Towers has designed and manufactured towers for the communica on industry. The corpo‐rate objec ve has remained to provide professionally engineered high quality towers to our customers with their budgets and schedule. Tashjian Towers began engineering and manufacturing towers for the amateur radio operators and has since de‐veloped its business to include towers for the much larger market of telecommunica ons. This catalog covers engi‐neering service, manufactured products and construc on service available from Tashjian Towers Corpora on.

How to use this Catalog  The purpose of this catalog is to provide our customers with a detailed list of the services and products which Tashjian Towers can provide. The catalog is separated into different divisions, engineering, stack towers, self‐suppor ng towers, tower trailers, poles, crank up towers and accessories. All parts are iden fied by part numbers and all part number are cross‐referenced to the price list. From the catalog, the customer will be able to determine the towers capacity and price. The delivery me for your tower is available by placing a call to Tashjian Towers Sales Department. The customer may select a standard tower kit for some of the Tashjian Towers models. For each of the standard tower kits, Tashjian Towers has assigned a part number. The part number may be used to cross‐reference between the catalog informa on and the price list. For each standard tower kit, a detailed bill of material can be provided. For many of standard tower kits, the maximum allowable projected area which the tower will hold at the top is given for an 100 MPH wind as defined by ANSI EIA RS 222 Rev H for Exposure C, Topo 1, Class 2. These projected areas shown are for budgetary purposes and does not include areas of ladders, cables, antenna mounts, cable lad‐ders, pla orms, or any other appurtenances. In the event there may be a ques on of compliance in the design of a standard catalog tower to state, local, building regula ons, or building codes, blueprints and engineering design calcula ons for your par cular site can be supplied at a moderate charge.

History of Towers at Tashjian Towers  Tashjian Towers Corpora on has three divisions to the business. The primary focus is to provide professional engi‐neered towers. The manufacturing division is the second division, which makes the towers. The third division is the construc on division which installs founda on and erects towers. Karl Tashjian, owner of Tashjian Towers, worked at Tri‐Ex Tower Corpora on from 1985 to 2000. While at Tri‐Ex, Karl was the engineer of record for hundreds of towers and worked on tower designs for the various tower models shown in this catalog. In 1997, Interna onal Tower Inc. was formed from Tri‐Ex Towers and S&G Communica on. ITI specialized in tall towers for the broadcast industry. While at ITI, the engineering group engineered and designed several candela‐brum towers approximately 2,000 feet tall, an 1860' tower with a 10' face width in Louisiana, a 1,000 foot tall can‐delabrum in downtown Atlanta guyed at 35%, along with many other tall heavy towers. In January of 2000, Spectra Site Broadcast group purchased Interna onal Tower Inc. Spectra Site closed the engi‐neering offices at the Tri‐Ex plant in Visalia in October of 2000, at which me Karl began consul ng full me. The old Tri‐Ex Towers Corpora on was dissolved in California, so Karl incorporated as Tri‐Ex Towers Corpora on in Cali‐fornia in Jan. 2002. In Jan. 2003, the name of the corpora on was changed to Tashjian Towers Corpora on. In 2010, Tashjian Towers built a 21,000 square foot factory with an addi onal 2,400 square foot engineering office on 2 acres in Fowler, California.

Tashjian Towers Corpora on Commercial Tower Division

Tashjian Towers Corpora on commercial tower business is organized into eight dis nct groups. The groups are Sales, Engineering, Produc on Control, Fabrica on, Weld, Paint, Assembly, and Quality Control. All Tashjian Towers are made in Fowler, California, USA. When a customer calls in to place an order, the sales personnel can determine the delivery date for your product. If the project requires Tashjian Towers to size the tower for the customer, sales will take the required data and forward onto the engineering department for design review. The custom tower design requires from 3 to 5 days to complete, depending on specifica‐

ons provided by the customer. Sales will send a wri en quota on via email with scheduled delivery dates. I

When the sales department receives a purchase order or verbal no ce to proceed, a sales order is wri en and passed on to the produc on control department. The produc on control department will request the drawing package from the engineering department. When produc on control logs the sales order, a sched‐uled ship date will be set. The customer will be advised of this ship date if different from our quota on. The produc on control department will purchase the raw material and purchase parts required to fill the order. The raw material used in Tashjian Towers meets various standards including American Standard Tes ng, and Measurement, ASTM, standards. The leg material ofself‐suppor ng tower is 50 KSI and the crank up and Stack towers use high strength steel with a minimum yield of 70,000 psi. Brace material conforms to ASTM A36. Produc on control will issue work orders to the shop to complete the sales order.

The fabrica on and weld departments convert the raw material into the black tower. The fabrica on depart‐ment cuts, torches, mills, turns, punches, drills, grinds, etc. the raw material per the drawings while welding uses the GMAW process. Tashjian Towers is par cularly proud of the quality of the welding from our weld department. All welders at Tashjian Towers Corpora on have American Welding Society, AWS, cer fica on for each process performed at Tashjian Towers. All weld procedures used by Tashjian Towers are qualified by AWS. A er welding, the black towers are shipped to the galvanizer. Tashjian Towers transports the towers to gal‐vanizers who are members of the Hot Dipped Galvanizer Associa ons. All galvanize conforms to ASTM stand‐ard A‐123. The galvanized towers are packaged for shipment by the assembly department. On request, towers can be painted or powder coated by Tashjian Towers. FAA factory applied paint is available on request.

Quality Control at Tashjian Towers is staffed to meet the requirements of Accredita on Criteria for Fabricator Inspec on Programs for Structural Steel per AC172. At all phases of manufacture,

quality control checks are made to assure adherence to drawings and specifica ons. Shipment of towers is accomplished by one of two methods. The first and most common method of shipment is for Tashjian Tow‐ers to prepay the freight and bill the customer. The second method is cash on delivery. Larger shipments are sent on dedicated trucks while smaller loads are shipped on common carrier.
