June was born in Scottsbluff, NE. She grew up in a large house and has two brothers. June has two children, Anne and James. She does not have any grandchildren. Her favorite activity is reading and she likes to read at night. She went to the University of Nebraska and became a teacher and taught at an elementary school. Her favorite thing about her job was the chil-dren. She enjoy books and movies about western people. June has always liked cats and dogs. A spe-cial event in her life was when she went on a trip with friends to the gulf coast of South America.
Blanche is originally from Colora-do. She married Fred “Fritz” Mey-er and together they irrigated a farm & herded cattle. Blanche worked for the school district in Bennette, Colorado for 30yrs. She was in charge of the food service from 1971-2001. In 2013, Blanche was added to the Hall of Fame in that school district and also has her name on a brick at one of the schools. Blanche & Fritz had 2 boys and 1 girl. They were married for 50yrs. Today Blanche has 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson. Blanche’s hob-bies include cooking, swing, bin-go and going to the casino.
