8:30 am–4 pm Student Tribe Card Processing | Campus Center, Tribe Card Services OfficeThe Tribe Card is your student’s ID and an essential part of life at W&M. Use this time to load W&M Express dollars on to your student’s account.
1–5 pm Parent & Family Orientation Check-In | Sadler Center, Lobby Optional for families arriving early to campus. This is an optional check-in for families arriving early from out-of-state. Another check-in time is provided Friday from 8 am–1:30 pm.
1–5 pm Local Area Merchants Fair | Sadler Center, LobbyA variety of Williamsburg merchants offer services for W&M students and their families. The fair runs Friday morning as well.
friday August 23 MOVE-IN DAY8 am–12 pm On-Campus Freshmen Orientation Check-In | Residence Hall Check-In LocationsOn-campus freshmen check in and pick up Orientation materials — while also moving into their residence hall.

9 am–3 pm Local Area Merchants Fair | Sadler Center, LobbyA variety of Williamsburg merchants offer services for W&M students and their families.
12 pm–3 pm W&M Auxiliary Services Fair | Kaplan Arena, Ukrop Way LawnParking & Transportation, W&M Dining, the W&M Bookstore, the Print Shop, and the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center are available. Register your student’s bike on campus, sample dining options, load up on spirit wear, and much more.
11 am–1 pm LunchNew students will access all meals via the green silicone bracelet provided during their Orientation check-in process. Families who purchased lunch will access their meal with the goldenrod wristband distributed during Parent & Family Orientation check-in. Full menu is available in the W&M Mobile App.
Families should take time to say goodbye to their students during this lunch period. Between 2–3 pm, students and families will separate for the remainder of Orientation programming

A thoughtful and interactive program about your student’s experience, W&M expectations, and parental support during the college transition.
3:45–4:30 pm The Liberal Arts Vision: A Look into Academic Success | Kaplan ArenaWe will highlight what makes our liberal arts education distinctive and describe the course planning and enrollment process.
5–6 pm Your William & Mary Welcome Kaplan Arena
Together with your new students, parents and families will officially be welcomed to the Tribe family by President Rowe, Vice President for Student Affairs Ambler, and others.
