At Planned Parenthood, care is much more than the services we provide; it is the way we approach our world.

We care. Deeply. With respect.

We are unwavering in our belief that all people deserve high-quality, affordable health care, and access to the information and reproductive services they need.

No matter who they are. No matter where they live.

Because we believe that when people are truly cared for, they will make their lives, their families – and even the world – better and healthier.

We care. No matter what.

Care. No matter what.

“Painful, curled-in-a-ball, feeling-like-my-body-is-being-ripped-apart cramps haunted me since I got my period at 13 years old. My parents thought I was exaggerating so I could skip school and my doctors kept telling me that cramps are normal. After years of suffering, a friend recommended Planned Parenthood, which truly changed my life. The staff listened to me, comforted me, and let me know that my level of pain was not normal — it was a common sign of endometriosis. Getting diagnosed validated my pain. I felt instantaneous relief, when I realized that I would be able to take steps to alleviate the symptoms by taking birth control. I am a happier and healthier person today because the staff at Planned Parenthood took the time to listen.”

“I volunteer with Planned Parenthood to help women receive the right to have control over their bodies. I am Jewish and I visit the synagogue at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation; along the walls are different quotes, including ‘women should have agency to their own bodies’— I strongly believe that.“-Rob Obler (pictured on left)
