Your lunch
The BBGC Summer Camp provides a safe and enriching environment for day campers to participate in healthy, developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences. Our day camp focuses on having fun while learning, building self-esteem and social skills
through new activities. Weekly themes and field trips keep day campers engaged and provide a basis for kids to learn about themselves and the world around them. We provide
many options for your child to have a summer experience of a lifetime.
WEEK 1 Theme: Wild About Water
Thursday, June 20th Water Play at the Boys & Girls Club
Campers will have a water day at the Club, organized water games and field day activities.
Requirements: Proper shoes (sneakers or water shoes), bathing suit & towel (Please wear bathing suits under clothes), dry clothes, bag lunch (NO glass bottles), sun block.

WEEK 2 Theme: Buggin’ Out
Tuesday, June 25th Depart: 10:00AM Return: 3:30PM
Action Wildlife 337 Torrington Rd, Goshen, CT Campers will enjoy a hayride, nature and learn about Action Wildlife’s unique collection of animals from around the world.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes (sneakers), bag lunch (NO glass bottles), sunblock/bug spray and camp t-shirt.

Woodtick Recreation Area 201 Nichols Road Wolcott, CT
Campers will spend a nice sunny day on the large sandy beach with a slide. Campers will be able to create sandcastles, volleyball, basketball and a playground area as well.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes (sneakers AND sandals or water shoes), bathing suit & towel (please wear bathing suits under clothes), dry clothes, water bottle, bag lunch (NO glass bottles), sunblock and camp t-shirt.
WEEK 3 Theme: Holiday’s Tuesday, July 2nd Depart: 9:30AM Return: 2:00PM
Monster Mini Golf 210 Indian River Road Orange, CT
At Monster Mini Golf Campers will get to experience mini golf and laser tag with the glow colors under black
lights, “living art” and monster-themed décor featuring fun-loving, animated monsters.
REQUIREMENTS: Sneakers is a must, bag lunch (no glass bottles) and camp t-shirt.

Mystic Aquarium 55 Coogan Blvd, Mystic, CT
At Mystic Aquarium campers will explore the aquarium, learn more and “sea” more than you ever thought possible!
REQUIREMENTS: Sneakers is a must! Bag lunch (no glass bottles) water bottle and camp t-shirt.

CT Science Center 250 Columbus Blvd Hartford, CT
Campers will enjoy 165 hands-on exhibits, the Connecticut Science Center offers endless exploration for children, teens, and adults. From physics to forensics, geology to astronomy, campers will have the
sciences at their fingertips. REQUIREMENTS: Sneakers is a must! Camp t-shirt and a bag lunch (NO glass bottles)

Campers will spend a nice sunny day on the playscape, splash pad, field games, basketball and pool.

Campers will play enjoy watching a baseball game at Muzzy Field.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes (sneakers), sun block, Camp T-shirt and a bag lunch (NO glass bottles).

Campers will enjoy watching a movie (TBD) and have lunch. Participate in a movie scavenger hunt and activities centered on friendship after the movie.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes, camp t-shirt and lunch provided (NO glass bottles)

Quassy 2132 Middlebury Rd, Middlebury, CT Campers can kick back on the carnival rides and waterpark plus enjoy all the park has to offer.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes (sneakers AND sandals or water shoes), bathing suit & towel (please wear bathing suits under clothes), dry clothes, water bottle, bag lunch (NO glass bottles), sunblock and camp t-shirt.
Grades 5th -8th
Tuesday, August 20th Depart: 10:00AM Return: 4:30PM
Lake Compounce 185 Enterprise Dr, Bristol, CT We will attend America’s oldest theme park where campers can kick back on the carnival rides and enjoy all the park has to offer. (Note: We will not be using the water park)
REQUIREMENTS: Sneakers is a must! Water bottle, camp t-shirt, water bottle, bag lunch (NO glass bottles) and sunblock.
WEEK 10 cont… Theme: Rainbows Rock
Thursday, August 22nd Depart: 10:00AM Return: 3:30PM
Carnival @ BBGC 255 West St. Bristol, CT
Campers will have fun playing in the bounce houses, water & playing carnival games.
REQUIREMENTS: Proper shoes (sneakers AND sandals or water shoes), bathing suit & towel (please wear bathing suits under clothes), dry clothes, bag lunch (NO glass bottles), sun block.

I give permission for my child, _______________________________________, to attend the selected field trips above, as well as walking to and participating in special events at the Imagine Nation Museum, Rockwell Park and swimming at Rockwell, Immanuel Lutheran (parking lot for activities) St. Ann’s parking lot and Bristol Public Library.
**If I choose not to send my child on a field trip, or if it is determined my child is not allowed to go on a field trip, I will find alternate childcare for that day. No Staff will remain at the BBGC and no refunds will be given. Camp T-shirts must be worn on all field trips. No Exceptions **
