Announcement 37th International HiPoint Meeting

March 2nd and 3rd, 2019

Date Saturday, 2nd / Sunday, 3rd March 2019 Location Switzerland, Zürich, indoor pool Oerlikon (next to Messe Oerlikon) Facility Olympic pool 50 x 21m, depth 1.8m, 8 lanes, temperature 27º Organisation Limmat Sharks Zürich Event program attached Officials TBD, referees of Limmat Sharks Zürich and neighbouring clubs Chronometry Omega ARES21 Rules The competition is run under FINA and the Swiss Swimming Federation rules for

registered swimmers of all FINA federations. Finals 400 m main heats: in the afternoon. 100 & 200 m are swum as A&B finals in the

afternoon (B final first).

K.O. final The finals of the 50m events (1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 17, 18 and 19) are swum as knock out finals. In the first two heats the slowest three swimmers will be eliminated each time. In the 3rd heat the remaining two swimmers compete for 1st and 2nd rank.

HiPoint trophy Trophy for best single performance Men/Women counted by FINA points. Eligibility Announcement sent to member clubs of SSCHV and some FINA clubs in near

European countries. Due to time limitations the organising club reservs the rights to restrict the number of entries or events. Be aware of the event time limit!!

Should the time limit not be achieved, a fine of CHF 10 shall be due (accumulative). Only swimmers with a valid SSCHV license or swimmers of foreign Clubs with a FINA license and a foreign country start authorization may compete.

CHF 20 per relay team (late entry CHF 30) The billing information is sent with the entry confirmation. For Swiss clubs the entry fees have to be paid using a payment slip/electronic until February 27, 2019. For foreign clubs the entry fees are due in cash on arrival (in CHF or Euro, no cheque!)

The 1st part is scheduled with the fastest 3 heats for all events (1-15) except the 400m styles (with a main heat) such are run with heat 2/3.
