Welcome of the 2020 Mystery Sampler “Friends and Family”

This sampler is inspired by antique Quaker and Vierlande Samplers, using a mix of traditional and original motifs, it is designed to celebrate your friends and family.

Throughout the sampler you will find initials. These celebrate my friends and family. Please use the alphabet chart on the left to replace these initials to celebrate those near and dear to you.

Threads: the selection of threads used in this sampler is entirely up to you. The sampler is designed in one colour, but Quaker Samplers were often multi-coloured. I look forward to seeing what you decide. When reading the charts, the grey shaded stitches are an overlap from the previous section, whilst the yellow shaded stitches are an overlap from last month, to help with placement.
