ABOUT WILD RIDGE
Wild Ridge Plants, LLC is owned and operated by the wife and husband team, Rachel Mackow and Jared Rosenbaum. We combine our experience in restoration, stewardship, and botany with our passion for reconnecting people with the traditional uses of wild plants. Together, we propagate and grow over 100 species of native plants on our farm. We’re involved in the day-to-day operations of the nursery - from collecting and sowing seeds to potting up plants and carrying bales of soil. Our hands are weathered, and we like it that way!
Rachel runs the hoop houses, where she spends much of the spring, summer, and fall. She’s on the Technical Advisory Team of the NJ Invasive Species Strike Team. She is also a photographer, writer, and musician. Jared is focused on propagation, botanical surveys, and stewardship consulting. He is Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner, as well as an author and musician.
