Lindbergh Youth Lacrosse Mission StatementOur mission is to provide a disciplined, organized, safe, fun, and competitive Lindbergh youth lacrosse program. While our student athletes are encouraged to strive for personal improvements, they are also expected to work together as a team, be loyal and respectful to their teammates, and place team above self. We will “Honor the Game” of lacrosse by instilling the values of RESPECT, INTEGRITY, LOYALTY, and CHARACTER. We will encourage and stress the importance of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Treasurer’s Update● Budget - expenses are in line with projected budget, registration cost
will reflect expenses and projections for 2020.
● Tax-Exempt Status - approved by Missouri. We are a 501(c)3 organization. Our taxes are public record and searchable.

Registration● All registration is done through the website (www.LindberghLax.com)● SLYLA requires a separate registration … link will be sent when it is ready. Games will be played with
SLYLA league. http://slyla.com/○ Elaine attending SLYLA meeting on Jan 15 and will convey locations and dates soon.
● You have an option to pay in full or a payment plan. If utilizing payment plan must register by February 1st
Update: As of January 27, 2020, we regret to inform you that due to coaching staff availability & low registration, we are unable to field teams for these age groups 8U (gr 1-2) or 10U (3-4) this season.
● Grades 5-8 fee - $375● Players Must have a valid US Lacrosse Number for season in order to register but link to US Lacrosse is in
registration form- Additional cost $30● Players to Provide Equipment
Apparel● Apparel can be ordered on website.
■ All players will need green shorts to be worn at games, shorts can be ordered on website.
■ Registration cost includes a Pinnie to be worn at games/practices. Pinnies should be ready in time to be distributed at the first practice.
Equipment● All players will need the following equipment:
○ Stick○ Helmet (white required for high school)○ Gloves○ Elbow & shoulder pads○ Mouthguard○ Cup○ Cleats (recommended … football or soccer cleats are fine)
Spring Season - Practices for 12U and 14U● Youth 12U & 14U (Grades 5-8)
○ Sundays, 1:00-3:00, beginning March 1 & March 8 @ Crestwood Park. ○ After Daylight Savings, week of March 10 we will practice on Tuesday
& Thursday, from 5:15 - 7:00 pm @ South Tech.○ Practices have been added to Calendar on website. ○ Wear practice pinnie provided by club. ○ Players are expected to to notify coaches if not able to attend
game/practice .
Spring Season 2020 - 12U & 14U Games● Games are scheduled through SLYLA’s league @ slyla● 12U Games to be played on Saturday afternoons.● 14U Games to be played on Sundays. ● Location: Lou Fusz & Sportport in Maryland Heights and Rams Park ● Game weekends: March 28-29, April 4-5, 18-19, 25-26, May 2-3, 9-10
End of Season Tournament May 16-17● Teams will be based on US Lacrosse age charts: US Lacrosse● 2-3 Additional games to be picked up during season with local teams.
Spring Season - GAMES● Uniforms
○ ALL players to wear the provided Pinnie for games. ○ Player to purchase green shorts from apparel store on website. ○ Wear white t-shirt under jersey or pinnie. Any white t-shirt is fine, or
purchase one from apparel store on website.
Parent/Player Code of Conduct● Player will be on time for practices and games, ready to play, including
proper equipment and attitude. If player will be late or absent the player should contact coach. Coach information can be found on website.
● Player and parent will conduct themselves in a proper manner and show good sportsmanship at all times, both on and off the field.
● Social media, including Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter, will only be used with responsibility and respect.
● Drug, alcohol, and tobacco use by the player is strictly forbidden. ● Bullying and taunting of others will not be tolerated.
Parent/Player Code of Conduct (continued)● Players must commit to holding high academic standards. ● If a player is suspended or is put on probation at school, the coaches will
also enforce restrictions.
Should any player choose to not abide by the above points, they risk suspension or dismissal from the team.
Communication● Last minute changes to practice & game schedules will be communicated

Fundraising Opportunities - Team Fundraiser● Super Bowl “Squares”
○ Each game board has 100 squares at $20 each○ We are asking each player to sell 3 squares○ Our goal is 3 full boards which will raise $3300○ Prize money 1st & 3rd qtr $100, Half $200, Final $500○ Purchase squares on our website by clicking the link on the
homepage or under the fundraising tab

our website○ Donations/Registrations on our website will close on Thursday,
January 30th at noon○ Game boards will be posted to our website under the fundraising tab
