2020 SUGAR LAND SKEETERS COVID-19 READINESS PLAN

STAFF PROCEDURES1. All full-time, part-time, contracted third-party staff members and interns will have

their temperature checked before entering Constellation Field. Any employees displaying a temperature of 100 degrees or above will not be permitted inside Constellation Field. Due to the summer heat potentially, temporarily, inflating body temperatures, if an employee tests above 100 degrees initially, they will have the opportunity for a 10-minute cool down and re-test. If the employee still has a temperature above 100 degrees after their second test, they will be sent home. Temperature logs of all employees will be kept and will be readily accessible by the Department of Health upon request.

2. Associates will enter from a single designated area separated by their position. (Game-day [Centerfield Gate], Food and Beverage [Lower level concession entrance], Players [1st Base Stairwell Entrance], Front Office [Administrative Offices])

3. All fan-facing staff members will be required to wear protective gloves and masks, as necessitated by current guidelines and best practices policies.

4. While at the stadium all staff will wear protective masks.

5. Staff will be instructed to make the following changes to fan-facing interactions, without limitation:• Prohibit handshaking and physical contact with guests and other employees. Employees will

be required to wear protective gloves and masks when handing items to fans (i.e. giveaway items)

• Employees will be required to periodically wash their hands and put on a new pair of gloves throughout each event. Employees will receive training on: proper glove use, understanding that gloves does not replace the need for handwashing, and proper disposal of gloves in lined trash cans.

• Ongoing training to educate staff on new or updated guidelines and procedures as they emerge.

CONSTELLATION FIELD ENTRY AND EXIT1. All fans will have their temperature checked before entering Constellation Field.

Any fan displaying a temperature of 100 degrees or above will not be permitted inside Constellation Field.

2. Due to the summer heat potentially inflating body temperatures, if a fan tests above 100 degrees initially, they will have the opportunity for a 10-minute cool down and re-test. If the fan still has a temperature above 100 degrees after their second test, they will not be allowed entry.

3. While at Constellation Field, fans are expected to wear facial coverings during all times where they can not maintain at least 6 feet of social distance. This includes on the councourse and in the restroom. When they are in their seat, where social distancing is designed, they could, if they choose to, remove the facial covering. Fans unable or unwilling to adhere to this policy will be asked to leave.

4. Before entry, fans will pass by a table where an employee will dispense hand sanitizer to fans. Each entrance will have a station set up. Additional hand sanitizer pumps will be at customer service on level one and level two.

5. The Skeeters will work to encourage social distancing upon entry, including, without limitation, walkways and sidewalks leading to ballpark entrances. Elevators will be limited to a maximum of two (2) people if not from the same family unit. Standard elevator capacity will be in effect if all riders are from the same family unit.

6. The Skeeters will utilize both the Main Gate and H-E-B Picnic Gate for entry and exit. To encourage social distancing, four of the eight gates will be used at the Main Gate, and three of the six gates will be used at the H-E-B Picnic Gate.

7. Bag checks will be in place, but the process will become entirely visual. Under no circumstances will Skeeters personnel touch a patron’s items upon entry nor will they use any device/wand to examine contents.

8. Stanchions or spacing markers will promote social distancing between customers waiting in line.

9. After the 7th inning (or 5th inning on the final game of a double-header) all gates will be open to allow for a spaced out exit. Staff will be on hand to ensure TABC laws are adhered to, but no items will be given to fans upon exit to eliminate groupings of fans.

GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE1. Kids Zone

• The Skeeters will not operate traditional kids zone attractions such as the Inflatable Zone, Sport Court and the Playground. These areas will remain closed for the foreseeable future. The Splash Pad will not open initially, but we hope to add it to the list of fan features later in the summer based on state of Texas requirements. The walkway behind the H-E-B Picnic Area, as well as the walkway leading from the Bud Light Ice House to the playground, will be cordoned off using bicycle racks. Signs will note the closures.

2. Concourse• Directional a-frame signage will be placed around the concourse to direct the flow of foot

traffic and encourage social distancing.

3. Restrooms• Doors will be propped open to encourage touchless entry/exit.

• Restrooms will be sanitized before, during, and after every event with disinfectant along all surfaces, including flush valves; Sanitation logs will be kept.

• Cleaning will utilize an Electrostatic Spraying System - 1 minute kill time with Protexus + TruShot Sanitizing Products

• Every other sink, urinal, and toilet stall will be disabled to allow for social distancing.

• The Skeeters will place CDC signage in the bathrooms to educate the public on proper hand washing techniques, etc.

• The Skeeters are exploring, in conjunction with their various partners, to evaluate touch-less enhancements, including motion-sensor dispensers and flush valves.

4. Mascots• Mascots will be present during games, and suits will be cleaned on a more frequent basis.

Mascots will, under no circumstances, give high fives, hugs, take close-quarters pictures, nor touch fans in any form.

• Mascots will be able to interact with fans from a distance (i.e. socially distanced high fives or photos)

5. Team Store• The Team Store will operate in a cashless environment.

• The Skeeters will place a staff member outside of the Team Store to enforce the maximum capacity level following current social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be made available to customers upon entry to the Team Store.

• Stanchions or spacing markers will promote social distancing between customers waiting in line and walking through the Team Store.

• The signature requirement for purchases will be disabled so that the customer will not have to touch the screen upon checkout. Patrons can simply insert their card chip and the transaction will complete.

• All commonly touched/shared surfaces within the Team Store will be sanitized with a disinfectant before, during and after every event; Sanitation logs will be kept.

GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE1. Promotions/On-Field Activities

• Autograph sessions with players will not be permitted.

• Players/staff members will not be permitted to throw baseballs or other items into seating areas.

• All between-inning promotions will abide by social distancing guidelines or will take place only with familial groups.

• Instead of traditional on-field promotions, the Skeeters will shift in-between inning entertainment to digital videoboard promotions wherever possible.

CASHLESS PAYMENT1. The Skeeters will convert the parking and merchandise operation to a cashless

process. The team is exploring other cashless operating facilities, including food/beverage, and ticketing. This will limit direct contact between employees and guests.

TICKET PURCHASES AND SERVICING1. Box Office ticket windows will be open during events to process walk-up sales. The

indoor portion of the Box Office will be closed to the general public.

2. As a general practice, we encourage digital ticket delivery. However, if unable, staff will print and hand tickets through the ticket windows. Hand sanitizer will be available at each window for use between transactions.

3. Stanchions or spacing markers will promote social distancing between customers waiting in lines.

4. Season ticket and group/hospitality customers will have curbside ticket distribution to minimize contact; all subsequent exchanges or additional ticket requests will be conducted electronically. Print-at-home tickets will not be touched by ticket takers, and will only be scanned upon entry.

SOCIALLY DISTANCED SEATING1. The Skeeters will re-create Constellation Field’s existing facility seating manifest to

allow for social distancing, thus decreasing the overall ballpark capacity.

2. The following measures will remain in place until social distancing restrictions are no longer required:• Rows and seats will be vacant and unavailable to purchase, to maintain social distancing

between familial parties. Every other row of the seating bowl will be left empty. In addition to stadium ushers positioned throughout the ballpark, two (2) staff members will serve as “concourse monitors” each game to enforce Constellation Field social distancing and face mask policies.

• The H-E-B Picnic Plaza will serve as a reserved seat area with social distancing measures in place. The buffet and pool inside the H-E-B Picnic Plaza will be closed.

• The Bud Light Ice House will remain open, but limited socially distanced seating will be available. No food will be served.

• The Grassland will remain open, but limited seating will be available to allow for social distancing. Signage will be used to remind fans of spacing requirements.

3. If seat re-assignment is necessary to execute social distancing measures, season ticket holders will be re-assigned first, followed by placement of existing group ticket purchasers. All remaining tickets will then become available for single-game purchasers.

1. Increased regularity and scope of wash-downs and cleanings. A visual log will be kept that fans can review. Logs will be recorded for the restrooms, the merchandise store, and the Insperity Club.

2. The Skeeters, in conjunction with their cleaning partner JaniKing International, will be adding additional sanitization measures with the use of an electrostatic spraying system. Protexus and TruShot compounds will be used, resulting in a 1 minute kill time. The Skeeters will also be adding hand sanitizing stations for public and employee use around the ballpark. These will be located at the customer service areas on the first floor and the second floor of the facility.

3. All ballpark cleaning staff will wear masks and gloves while on-site at Constellation Field.

1. Signage regarding COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines will be placed in areas with high visibility to fans, employees, and team personnel.

2. Additional large signage pieces will be displayed at each entry with the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 reminding fans that if they experience any symptoms they should not attempt to enter the facility.

3. Frequent video and public address announcements will promote hand-washing, social distancing, and similar health practices for customers.

CLUBHOUSE AND ON-FIELD PERSONNELTo ensure all players are in the safest conditions, the Sugar Land Skeeters will implement the following standards:

1. The Skeeters will be working with Access Health (the test supplier for Fort Bend County) to establish regularly scheduled testing protocols according to governmental and general healthcare guidelines for all uniformed personnel (players, coaches, trainers, etc.). [Additional detail is provided in the enclosed Constellation Summer Energy League 2020 Health & Safety Plan]

2. Players will change in the locker room, but social distancing will be encouraged. Showers will be closed.

3. Increased cleaning frequency of the home and visiting clubhouses.

4. Rehab for players will be scheduled to limit the number of people receiving treatment each day. After work is performed, all surfaces will be cleaned by staff medical personnel.

5. Autographs will not be permitted during this season.

6. Traditional fan exchanges such as throwing a ball in to the stands are discontinued.

7. Limitations on the use of commonly “spit” items include, but not limited to, sunflower seeds, gum, peanuts, and chewing tobacco. No spitting will be allowed in the dugout.

8. On-field water will be dispensed and handed to players by associates in gloves. Single use cups only.

9. Additional restrictions on clubhouse access. Media and front office staff visits are to be extremely limited or prohibited entirely.

10. Buffet-style food service will be discontinued, and all utensils must be pre-packaged. Players are being paid a per diem to purchase meals before or after their game. Any team meals not covered by the per diem will be boxed and “grab-and-go” style.

11. The Skeeters will follow medical guidance regarding player and on-field personnel health and safety, including travel, fan/media interaction, dugouts, etc.

INSPERITY CLUB1. In the individual suites, buffet service will be discontinued for this year. Customers

can purchase their own food items downstairs and bring them to their suite or participate in the staffed buffet in the Insperity Club. They would have a third option if a food-to-seat delivery system implemented this season.

2. Legends Hospitality employees would serve all Insperity Club buffet stations.

3. Self-Serve soda station will be operated by a Legends employee. Employee will wear gloves and change out frequently.

4. All grab-and-go stations (ie Nacho bar) will be manned.

5. All glasses at the Insperity Club bar will go through formal sterilization. Once all of the sterilized glasses are used the bar will switch to disposable.

6. The team party suite that traditionally serves up to 100 people will be combined to one suite at 25 tickets (25% capacity).

7. Seating in the Insperity Club will be modified for social distancing. Tables will be removed or signs placed on them to indicate if they can be utilized.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

FOOD AND BEVERAGE VENDOR POLICIES

• Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, Legends will enact physical distancing procedures by assessing and arranging workstations and customers spaces to allow for at least six (6) feet between individuals whenever possible. Consider removing furniture to allow for easier ingress and egress. Physical distancing will be supported by decreasing the personal items and inventory in workspaces and staggering worker shifts.

• Assess each workstation to determine where workers can stand while allowing for at least six (6) feet of distance between another worker.

• Review the spatial plan with workers during their pre-shift/departmental meetings.

• Determine if tape would help workers stay within their designated workstations.

• Look for interior doors that can be left open to avoid contact by multiple people.

• Continue to follow Legends’ Injury and Illness Prevention Plan so that even when there is a smaller workforce on site, a manager/supervisor needs to regularly check workers who are alone in their workstations.

• Elevators will be limited to a maximum capacity of two (2) people if not from the same family unit. Standard elevator capacity will be in effect if all riders are from the same family unit.

• All workers must wear face coverings that will be provided by Legends during the check-in process. Additional applicable PPE must be worn by all workers based on their responsibilities at the venue.

• All workers must wear a face covering while they are at the work site.

• Workers must wear food safety designated gloves any time they are handling food.

• Before putting on their gloves, workers must wash their hands.

• Workers must use the correct glove size to avoid it tearing.

• Each applicable workspace must have multiple sizes of food safety gloves (a minimum of medium, large, and extra-large food safety gloves, but have small and extra extra-large food safety gloves available in central locations)

• PPE kits containing items such as oven mitts and cut resistant gloves will be prepared based on its respective workspace and distributed to the corresponding stand supervisor. At the end of the shift, the PPE kits would then need to be returned so that the PPE can be cleaned.

Legends is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our workers and customers. Based on the COVID-19 pandemic, legends has reimagined its workspace and the guest experience to allow for a safe and enjoyable environment in conjunction with recommendations from local, state, and federal authorities, Legends has developed additional policies and procedures to add to its existing high standard personal safety and food safety programs so that guests and workers are safe. Managers and workers are all responsible for implementing this plan.

CLEANING

RESTAURANT SPACES AND BANQUET/CATERING SPACES

The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in both the guest areas and the back of house areas. Special emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing has been in the high-traffic areas and on the high touch surfaces. EPA approved COVID-19 combatant chemicals need to be used. The disinfectants are typically not food safe, and therefore, after the disinfectants are used, food and beverage areas then need to be cleaned and sanitized per Legends’ Food Surfaces Sanitize Policy

• Designate a dedicated employee in an identifiable uniform that visually stands out to guests. That employee’s role is to actively clean and monitor the cleanliness of the stand.

• Designate additional workers to be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing.

• Each space must be cleaned and sanitized at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day.

• Create opening and closing checklists for all locations in order to confirm the required cleaning and sanitizing has been completed. A supervisor or manager must verify that those checklists have been completed.

• High-touch worker objects that need to be cleaned and sanitized at least once an hour include, but are not limited to, security collection basket in entrance areas, time clocks (such as the ABI equipment), phones, radios, shared computers, point of sale terminals, doorknobs, door plates, shared pens, tools, utensils, cleaning equipment, kitchen equipment, thermometers, carts, speed racks, hand trucks, pallet jacks, industrial motorized vehicles, handles to coolers/freezers/hot boxes, and keys.

• If possible, assign equipment, such as point of sale systems, to a single cashier. That system would then be cleaned and sanitized between each user and before and after each shift.

• If multiple servers use the same point of sale system, servers will either wash or sanitize their hands afer each use.

• Each venue leader must coordinate with the venue and, if applicable, the venue’s cleaning company to assign responsibility for public space and guest space cleaning and sanitizing.

• Dining tables, bar tops, stools, and chairs must be cleaned and sanitized after each guest’s use.

• Determine what doors can safely be left open to avoid the need for people to touch any part of the door.

• At the recommendation of local officials, Legends at Constellation Field will use disposable plates, cups and single use silverware for concession and premium area service.

• Condiments, silverware, flatware, glassware, or other traditional tabletop items must not be left on an unoccupied table.

• Original buffet layouts will have serving attendants. These attendants would use an assembly line approach to prepare the guest’s plate with the guest’s food choices.

• Buffets must include sneeze guards.

• Original buffet layouts will also use wrapped/packaged products for guests to take their selection.

• Replace bulk-made items with individual servings that are handed directly to the guest.

• Chafers, jockey boxes, and utensil buckets must be cleaned and sanitized after each use.

CONCESSIONS

WAREHOUSE

• Refillable items will not be refilled.

• Refills on drinks must be provided in new cups designated by management.

• If other products are refillable (such as popcorn), new containers must be used for the refillable product, but those containers must be designated by management.

• If the venue is using straws, order wrapped straws. Do not have the workers unwrap the straw and place it in the customer’s drink. Instead, hand the wrapped straw directly to the customer.

• For drink containers that must be opened before the transaction is completed, use a bottle opener to open cans instead of handling the can directly with your fingers and hand.

For screw-top bottles, a worker could use:• A food safety gloved hand to open the bottle (remembering that if that glove hand touched

money and then the bottle, the glove is dirty and there would be no difference if the worker was using a glove or a bare hand to open the bottle)

• A sanitizer wipe; or simply ask the customer to open the screw-top bottle and collect the lid.

• Condiments must be provided in an individual takeaway container or pre-packaged packets and will be provided by the worker directly to the guest. All menu items must be issued in wraps, clam shells, boxes, bags, etc.

• If possible, arrange cash only and credit card only service lines to allow guests to choose their preferred method of payment.

• All items will be inspected before being brought into the kitchen.

• Where possible, limit cardboard or any other boxes from deliveries into the kitchen.

• Anything received as an individual or loose item will be sanitized before being stored.

TRAINING

AUDITING

All Legends workers must participate in mandatory trainings to understand the company’s policies and procedures as it relates to subjects such as personal safety, food safety, and COVID-19 protection. Trainings will be distributed online via classroom settings, videos, and preshift/departmental meetings. Communications about this plan and other programs related to COVID-19 safety and prevention will be distributed according to the COVID-19 work groups’ plans.

To confirm that workers are following all of Legends’ policies and procedures that they affirmed

and were trained to complete, managers and designated Legends employees will monitor and

verify workers’ activities. If corrective action is needed, these managers and designated

employees will correct, re-train, and if necessary, discipline. Management will develop and

implement surveys to get feedback from workers to determine that the elements of this plan are

effective. The feedback will be used to adapt, communicate, and enhance this plan. Managers

will also continue to monitor the health of the workers in case a worker has COVID-19 symptoms

develop during his/her time at the venue.
