2020/2021 School Year Enrollment Odyssey Charter School
Odyssey Charter School will be accepting applications for any new students applying to our Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade
programs for the 2020-2021 school year.
OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD: November 4, 2019 8:00am through January 8, 2020 11:59pm.
ALL APPLICANTS including children of founders and employees, and siblings of current students must apply during open
enrollment at https://www.schoolchoicede.org/ in order to be included in the enrollment lottery.

Special guests from the University of Delaware, Dr. Goodwin and his wife Jean Goodwin visited Ms.
Kyle’s classes this week to kick off the holiday season. They shared their book Milton the Christmas
Moose, a holiday tale about compassion, determination, and being yourself!
Computer Science Week Celebration
12/20/19
High school students visited the lower school this week & partnered up with students in kindergarten and second grade
to celebrate computer science week! Students completed several different computer coding activities through
movement activity and peer to peer interaction activity to complete a facial coding activity.

Winter Season Baton Twirling! Who: Students in Grades 4-8 Where: Odyssey Charter Middle School Lobby When: Monday end of school - 4:15pm. Pick up in front of the Middle School. Classes will begin January 6th. What you need: A great attitude, smiles, appropriate athletic clothing, sneakers and a baton. Batons can be purchased through any supplier. Size of the baton should be the length of twirlers arm (armpit to finger tips). CLUB
Dungeons and Dragons Club Permission Slip
Dungeons and Dragons Club is an after-school club where students meet to play the fantasy role
playing game, Dungeons & Dragons. Anyone in grades 6-12 (Middle/High School) are welcome
to join the club.
No previous knowledge of the game is necessary. The game will be school appropriate. This club
is meant to provide students with an environment where they can socialize and play a creative
and cooperative game with classmates.
When: Alternating Wednesdays (list provided below) 3:00-5:00. An afterschool activity bus is
available, but must be signed up for a day ahead. Parents should pick up their child in the front
of building 21.
