A wicked witch was very kind to leave our class a very

fun activity. The children were encouraged to stick their

hand in each bag and describe how each “body part” felt.

Witch’s hair- orange yarn Witch’s skin- sand paper

Witch’s heart- avocado

Witch’s teeth- black beans

Witch’s fingers- green beans

Witch’s eyes- grapes

The children got a chance to do two

letter recognition activities.

1#-They had to match each lower case

(bat wing) letter to its corresponding

upper case (other bat wing) letter

2#-They filled in letters of the alphabet

using candy skeleton bones.

A very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to

Jake!! Thank you to Jake’s dad

for coming in to read a story to

the class. The children enjoyed

their special treat!!

Friendly Reminders

-Lunch will be provided the day of the dance-a-thon. If you do not think your child will eat a hotdog, please

make sure to pack them a separate lunch.

-Label of your child’s masks.

-PJ Halloween party tomorrow

-You will not need to pack a big lunch for your child tomorrow. We will have plenty of snacks. Just need to pack

a cup and one main thing (sandwich, mac and cheese, etc.)

-If you plan to buy any items of the class Wishlist, please make sure to let me know what item/items. This way, I
