§ The safety of our students, staff and community is paramount.
§ Providing the best in-person, uninterrupted educational experience for our students is our mission.
§ Based on current community spread rates, combined with quarantine requirements, we will begin the year masking all students and staff K-12.
§ Tonight we are discussing and sharing how we will start the year and beginning the conversation on how we may adjust once school is open.
§ Once school is open, we may or may not change our masking requirements based on the following criteria:
§ Transmission levels in our community§ Vaccination status§ Cases and spread within each building once we are open§ Federal, State and Local guidance§ Our ability to implement effective mitigation strategies

Nurses
§ RTSD will begin the year with additional nursing support to ensure that every building has 2 nurses on site.
Quarantine
§ Symptomatic individuals will be sent home by the school nurse and instructed to reach out to their primary care provider to get tested.
Rapid Testing and
Screening
Rapid Testing
§ Radnor will continue to provide rapid testing for employees or students via our partnership with the DCIU.
93% sensitivity to detect infection in SYMPTOMATIC persons with culturable virus
79% sensitivity to detect infection in ASYMPTOMATIC persons with culturable virus
