Happy Mother’s DayA Mother’s Day Prayer

Mary, on this day when we honor all mothers, we turn to you. We thank the Lord whom you serve for the great gift of motherhood. Never has it been known that anyone who sought your intercession was left unaided by grace.

Dear Mother, thank you for your “Yes” to the invitation of the angel which brought heaven to earth and changed human history. You opened yourself to God’s word and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Dear mother, intercede for all of our mothers. Ask your Divine Son to give them the grace of surrendered love so that they could join with you in giving their own “Fiat.” May they find daily strength to say yes to the call to the sacrificial love- the very heart of the vocation of motherhood. May their love and witness be a source of great inspiration for all of us called to follow your Son.

On this Mothers day, Mother of the Word Incarnate, pray for us who have recourse to you... In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Te damos gracias por nuestras madres,a las que Tú les has confiado

el cuidado precioso de la vida humana desde su inicio.

Tú has dado a la mujer la capacidad de participar contigo en la creación

de nueva vida. Haz que cada mujer pueda llegar a comprender el pleno significado

de esta bendición.

Haz que todas ellas puedan fomentar la fe de sus hijos,

siguiendo el ejemplo de María, la Madre de Tu Hijo.

María, Madre del cielo, intercede por todas las madres,

sé su guía y consuelo. Alcánzales de Dios la Gracia

para esta vida y la alegría eterna en la Gloria.

QUINCEAÑERAS’ PROGRAM REQUIREMENTSThe preparation begins at age 13. It is a requirement that the young participant attends religious formation - whether sacramental or youth ministry - the year of the celebration and have attended the previous year.

Additionally, she will take the Quinceañeras’ preparation classes.

PROGRAMA DE QUINCEAÑERAS REQUISITOSLa preparación inicia a los 13 años. Es requisito que la joven esté asistiendo a formación religiosa -

ya sea sacramental o el ministerio de jóvenes - el año de la celebración, que haya asistido el año anterior y tomar las clases de preparación para quinceañeras.

Nuestras Misas de Quinceañeras se celebran en grupo el primer sábado de febrero, mayo, agosto y noviembre.

Catholic Communication Campaign Collection | May 15‐16, 2021 Communication Builds Community

Fifty years ago, the Second Vatican Council wrote in Communio et Progressio that “technical advances have the high purpose of bringing men into closer contact with one another” (6). In the past year, we have seen how important the role of social communications is amid the COVID‐19 pandemic as the faithful have relied upon this high purpose of technology to build community and share the Good News. This year’s celebration of World Communications Day will take place on May 16. This is also the date of the national Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) Collection in most dioceses. Through websites, social networks, television, radio, and print, the CCC helps the Church spread the Gospel message through the media locally and nationally. Half of all donations to the CCC collected in the Diocese of Fort Worth stay here to support local communications projects such as North Texas Catho-lic, the Diocesan website, live streaming of Mass, public relations and social media efforts. Your gift to the Catholic Communication Campaign is used to connect communities to Christ via the internet, television, radio and print media here at home and around the world.
