Mission: The Genesis Group is a group of community volunteers that unite individuals and organizations dedicated to adaptive leadership to meet new challenges and to creating positive impact in the Mohawk Valley region.

• Facilitate and advocate effective collaborations between individuals and organizations to foster adaptive growth and transformational community development

• Be the reliable and consistent voice of the community in recognizing and preserving the best of what we have to offer, and to prepare for new challenges and to capitalize on opportunities

• Organize community events that will create transformational impacts in the community

• Commemorate and acknowledge community achievements and accomplishments of individuals and organizations

• Strengthen our organization’s capacity and flexibility to respond to the ever-changing needs of the community

Invitation - Genesis Group Annual Appeal October 1, 2020......We hope this message finds you and your family well and safe! Before the pandemic, our region was thriving with a vibrant economy and many exciting new projects. New challenges have arrived. Now, we must stay focused on the tasks at hand and think forward as we adjust to a "New Reality." We invite you to become...or continue as...a Sponsor of Genesis and its many projects and events. With Genesis, there is something for everyone. Your financial support and contribution will go towards all of our events. You can also choose to support a particular project such as: Community Forums, Education and Healthcare Recognition's, Career Days w/ Area Students, Taste of Mohawk Valley, 9/11 Prayer Breakfast, July 4th Parade & Fireworks, Striving w/ Young Professionals, just to name a few. You can also support The “New” Genesis Center. Work done here will promote and develop pipelines between area schools, colleges, businesses and industries that provide Data Analytics and Quantitative Analysis coursework, training, internships and degree programs and other opportunities that allow our region to be a leader in this field. The Center will also offer research opportunities for Data Analytics and Quantitative Analysis projects and program developments, while acting as a catalyst in this pathway to our future. You can also support The “New” Genesis Grants Program which will offer grants to support the needs of small businesses and not for profit organizations in the region. Right now we are asked to stand apart to better protect one another’s health, but for the past 20 years the Genesis Group has reminded us that we can do so much more when we stand together.
