Day 3: Mon, March 22 – AMSTERDAM – DELFT – ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS. Welcome to Amsterdam! After completing formalities meet your Tour Director for a transfer through the Dutch countryside to the picturesque town of Delft. Visit the historical city center, where monumental houses are an explicit memory of Delft’s rich past. The city is more than 750 years old and enjoyed its heyday in the Golden Age. In those days, Delft was a rich merchants’ town with its own lodge of the Dutch East India Company. Visit the world-renowned ROYAL DELFT POTTERY FACTORY with its magnificent collection of hand-painted earthenware pieces, and see skilled craftsmen at work. Enjoy free time for independent exploring, lunch and shopping followed by a transfer to your hotel where you will spend two nights in the port of Rotterdam. Day 4: Tue, March 23 – ROTTERDAM. Join your guide and explore Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ “Second City.” See the avant-garde architecture, pretty canals, incredible cable-stayed Erasmus Bridge, and the unusual collection of cube houses including a visit to KIJK-KUBUS MUSEUM HOUSE, a fully decorated cube-house with custom designed furniture. See LAURENSKERK, the only relic in Rotterdam remaining from the middle ages. It was one of the few buildings that survived the Blitz in Rotterdam during WWII. It houses the largest mechanical organ in Europe with 7600 pipes. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch at the Markethal. This afternoon discover the splendid windmills of KINDERIJK to see how the Dutch have been controlling the waters for over 1000 years. Known for its iconic 18th century windmills, its water-management network features 19 mills and 3 pumping stations, plus dikes and reservoirs that control flooding in the polder (low-lying land). Waterways, footpaths and bike trails crisscross the area, leading to the main VISITORS CENTER and MUSEUMS in preserved working windmills. A CANAL TOUR allows you to enjoy the scenery of KINDERIJK by water. Next visit a family CHEESE FARM and will learn everything there is to know about the cheese making process followed by dinner in a warm and cozy setting. (B,D)

Day 5: Wed, March 24 – AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – EMBARK AVALON PASSION. After breakfast this morning, visit the famous bulb fields in South Holland and the extraordinary KEUKENHOF flower park, the world’s largest flower gardens with more than seven million tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, as well as other bulbs each year. There’s free time to take in the beautiful flora of the Netherlands and enjoy lunch on your own. You will all agree that this is truly the most beautiful spring time garden in the world. This afternoon we will transfer to the Amsterdam Pier for embarkation on our awaiting Suite Ship, the Avalon Passion as we embark on our Magnificent Europe cruise adventure. Day 6: Thur, March 25 – AMSTERDAM – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO COLOGNE, GERMANY. Explore the iconic waterways of Amsterdam with a Guided Canal Cruise past stately homes of Amsterdam’s “Golden Age.” This afternoon choose among the many Guided Optional Excursions available. Day 7: Fri, March 26 – COLOGNE – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO RÜDESHEIM. Join your Adventure Host for today’s special activities. Take a Guided City Walk of Cologne – explore the Old City and see its soaring twin-steepled gothic cathedral, or join a Guided Walking Tour of Cologne’s important Jewish heritage sites. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy free time over a glass of Kölsch pale lager – locally brewed for over 100 years! This evening, enjoy live entertainment onboard your ship. Day 8: Sat, March 27 – RHINE GORGE – RÜDESHEIM – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO MAIN RIVER VILLAGE. This morning cruise through the dramatic Rhine Gorge and see the famous rock of the Lorelei. Tour the incredible Mechanical Music Museum for a one-of-a-kind instrumental experience, or take an open-air cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument. Ride or walk back down through the vineyards. Enjoy a local special treat. Later, local musicians will join us onboard for live entertainment. This afternoon, the ship will cruise overnight to Main River Village. (B, L, D)

Day 9: Sun, March 28 – MAIN RIVER VILLAGE – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO WÜRZBURG. Ask about today’s energizing or relaxing Adventure Host activities. Join a Guided Walking Tour of a picturesque Bavarian

village. Spend free time riding a bike through the beautiful villages on the Main River shores. This evening, the ship will cruise overnight to Würzburg. (B, L, D)

Day 10: Mon, March 29 – WÜRZBURG. Take a Guided Sightseeing Tour of Würzburg with its Old Main Bridge, towering fortress, and baroque Bishop’s Residence – with the largest known ceiling fresco. Enjoy the city on your own, or visit a local winery. The ship will be docked in Würzburg overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Tue, March 30 – WÜRZBURG – VOLKACH – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO BAMBERG. You may choose to join a Guided Optional Excursion to the beautiful Bavarian town of Rothenburg. See the local sights and enjoy the fairytale atmosphere that has inspired artists. Sail to Volkach and get ready for your afternoon activity. Day 12: Wed, March 31 – BAMBERG – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO ROTH. Take a Guided Walking Tour of the former home to imperial dynasties, and see its Romanesque cathedral, Old Town Hall, and seven hills crowned with churches. Attend an onboard lecture to learn about European history and culture. Later, enjoy live entertainment performance while sailing this evening. Day 13: Thur, April 01 – ROTH – EXCURSION TO NUREMBERG – OVERNIGHT CRUISE TO REGENSBURG. Visit the Adventure Center for today’s activities with your Adventure Host. Enjoy a Guided Sightseeing Tour of the Bavarian town of Roth – with its half-timbered houses, market square, and 1535 hunting lodge Schloss Ratibor, or Choose a Guided Tour of Nuremberg’s medieval architecture, gilded fountain, gothic cathedral, and Kaiserburg Castle or Join a Guided Tour of the historic Nuremberg Rally Grounds – used by the Third Reich. Enjoy an Onboard Lecture about the Main-Danube Canal – linking these two rivers to make a vital connection enabling navigation between the North and Black Seas.
