• First movement plus cadenza of a Mozart violin concerto

• One movement of a concerto written after 1800

• One movement from an unaccompanied sonata or partita by Bach

• Orchestral Excerpts (as attached):

• MOZART Symphony no.39 in E-flat, K.543 (iv. Finale)

• MENDELSSOHN Midsummer Night’s Dream (Scherzo)

• BRAHMS Symphony no.4, op.98 (i. Allegro non troppo)

Applicants will be assessed on the following for this round, and where the same work(s) are requested, the applicant may choose to submit a new recording should they wish to do so:

• First movement plus cadenza of a Mozart violin concerto*

• One movement of a concerto written after 1800*

• Two contrasting movements from an unaccompanied sonata or partita by Bach^

• Two new orchestral excerpts, to be provided 2 weeks prior to recording due date

* Applicant may choose to make a new recording, or to resubmit their recording from Round 1. ^ Applicant may choose to submit a new recording of two contrasting movements, or one additional movement in contrast to their Round 1 submission only.
