Goal: Current N loads from MS4 Stormwater do not increase
Requires the following “Enhanced BMPs” • Public Education and Outreach annual timed messages
• Spring – use/disposal of grass clippings and fertilizer use • Summer – pet waste management • Fall – leaf litter disposal
• Stormwater Management in New Development and Redevelopment • Stormwater BMPs be optimized for N removal • Retrofit inventory + priority ranking needs to consider BMPs to reduce N discharges
• Good Housekeeping and Pollution Prevention for Permittee Owned Operations • Improved management of fertilizer use, grass cuttings, leaf litter on municipal property • Increased (2x per year) street sweeping of all municipal owned streets and parking lots
