Affiliate Successes in 2008Programming• “This was our Volunteer Center's first year for participating in Family Volunteer Day.

• “A family registered in the Adopt A Family Holiday Assistance Program had two adults and three young children living in a small home. The oldest was a 6-year-old boy who was without even a bed frame. The family that sponsored this family in need.”

• “National Make A Difference Day was a tremendous Success for us this year. It continued to grow and we had more kids than ever, we had more partners and I think overall it was a great success.”

• “Family Volunteer Day- As a "Neighboring" project, we mobilized students in public housing to recruit their families for a day of service in their neighborhood. College students led the project as a Service Learning activity.”
