Information Fluency in the Classroom

During our Non-Fiction writing unit students research an animal of their choice using several internet resources. While researching they answer specific questions pertaining to their animal using online tools such as Wikipedia or National Geographic for Kids. Once all the information is gathered each student determines which information is valuable and then creates a report that is later presented to the class.
