Stage One:Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)The Carb12 pre-filterremoves chlorine and otherorganic impurities andserves to protect Stage Two,the Reverse Osmosismembrane, from damage.

GAC is an excellent mediafor the absorption ofchemicals found in raw tapwater but has little or noaffect on dissolved solids,micro-organisms, heavymetals, pathogens andviruses.

Jug filters and filter taps usesmall quantities of GAC asthe primary process toimprove the taste of tapwater. GAC is an effectivefiltration media rather thana purification process.

Stage Two:Reverse Osmosis(RO)With the chlorine removed,the raw tap water passesinto the Reverse Osmosismodule. Our own patentedthin film composite (TFC)membrane is the only ROwith US EnvironmentalProtection Agency (EPA)certification meaning this isthe only RO system certifiedsuitable for the removal ofmicro-organisms from water.

At 0.0001 microns it’scapable of removing 100%of disease causing micro-organisms and up to 98% ofinorganics and 70% ofnitrates.

Our patented flushingmechanism removes scaleand biofilm extendingmembrane life to up to tenyears.

Stage Three:De-Ionisation(DI)Another unique andessential feature of ourpatented system is the de-ionisation module. Theimpurities that breach ROcan only be removed by DI.This stage is an ionexchange process removingheavy metals, nitrates1,gases, volatile organicchemicals2 and oestrogens,replacing them withhydroxide (OH) or hydrogen(H), better known to us asH2O. The result is Pure H2O,the purest water available.

1 Nitrates have a habit ofmimicking oestrogen and starvingthe red blood cells of oxygen. Theyshould be removed from drinkingwater.2 Nitrates and volatile organicchemicals hide the hydrogenbond of the water molecule thatmakes them invisible, thus, passingthrough RO but not DI stages.

Stage Four:Granular ActivatedCarbon (GAC)The final stage, a post-filter‘polishing’ process, ensuresany residual gases areremoved producing agreat taste.

THE FIFTHFUNCTIONOF WATERWater was alwaysunderstood to have fourcritical roles in the body:solvent, transportant,lubricant and coolant.

The Fifth Function, that of an electro-negative enhancer was firstdocumented by renowned chemistThomas Riddick in his study of ZetaPotential. Zeta Potential is the strength ofnegative charge of particles enteringthe blood stream that can help toincrease the dispersion or discretenessof the red blood cell.

Pure water (H2O) is a naturally occurringelectronegative enhancer. Citrus fruit,onions and garlic also display thisamazing property; ever wondered whythey are regarded as super foods?

Electronegativity plays an important rolein our health. Thomas Riddick explainsthat Zeta Potential is a basic law ofnature. Without Zeta Potential life couldnot exist. Zeta Potential maintains thedispersion or discreteness of theparticles in suspension. Because redblood cells are less than ten microns insize they follow the law of colloidstability, that is they have a natural

electronegative charge. At an optimumstate of health the cells pass single file,never touching one another (see Image1.0).

To maintain the health of our red bloodcells we require a well balanced dietinclusive of electronegative enhancers.Our blood is of course over 80% waterso the purity of the water we drink isessential and drinking pure waternaturally increases the negativity of thecell. Furthermore when blood cells arefree flowing, they expose maximumsurface area to the blood and aretherefore able to hold and transportmore oxygen and other nutrientsthroughout the body.

Drinking pure water will also allow the fatcells to release contaminants intosolution that can then be dispersedthrough the kidneys. This can assist inweight loss and the reduction of waterretention.

Fat cells are good not bad. They storetoxic material and keep it from beingdeposited in vital areas. However, whenthe fat cell has reached its limit ofstorage, it will allow the deposition ofmetabolites and wastes in other areas,such as the blood vessels. Red bloodcells will lose their negative charge andnatural spacing if deposition is allowedto continue.

A greater loss of electronegativitycauses the red blood cells to lose allspace between each other and formblockages in capillaries or “Rouleaux”(see image 2.0).

Drinking Pure H2O enhances thenegativity of the red blood cell,optimising the natural space betweencells and thereby avoiding blockages in capillaries; in effect maintainingoptimum health. Also, through osmosis,the fat cell will try to take in more of thispure water, due to the cell’s ‘education’to attract salts. Because the water ispure the fat cell will disperse its contentsinto the solution and those contents willbe removed through the kidneys morereadily because of the volume andability pure water has to carry wastes.

MINERALSANDDIGESTIONMinerals can be classified aseither ‘organic’ or ‘inorganic’.Inorganic minerals areminerals from the soil orrocks. Humans cannot digestrocks.

Minerals are divided into two groups,major and trace minerals. Majorminerals are those that are required bythe body in quantities greater than 100mg per day and include Calcium,Magnesium, Phosphorous, Chloride andSodium. Trace minerals are those thatare required by the body in quantitiesless than 100mg per day. Trace mineralsare Iron, Copper, Zinc, Iodine andSelenium.

There are two important issuesconcerning minerals. Minerals can beclassified as either ‘organic’ or‘inorganic’. Inorganic minerals areminerals from the soil or rocks. Humanscannot digest rocks. Plants can digestrocks. When plants eat rocks, they (theplants) link a protein to the minerals,which carries a charge. This allows theminerals to be absorbed into the humandigestion system more readily. Thepositive (ionic) charge on the plantminerals attracts the negative (ionic)

charge in the small intestine so that theycan be taken up into the blood streammore easily.

Minerals that are not naturally ‘chelated’in plants must be chelated in thestomach. Minerals are crystals withsmooth surfaces. There is no ‘bare’mineral up-take mechanism in thehuman digestion system. The smallintestine will only accept amino acids,simple sugars, and fatty acids. Thereforethe mineral must play ‘Trojan Horse’;hitching a ride with a protein in order toget into the blood stream. The proteinwould have to hold on to the mineral,however, there are no ‘handles’ on thesmooth surfaced mineral. This is wherehydrochloric acid (HCl) enters thepicture. The HCl etches grooves or‘handles’ into the sides of the mineral sothat the protein can hang on. Thisprocess is called ‘chelation’.

Without adequate concentrations of HClin the stomach, we quickly deplete ourmineral supply.

We get organic minerals predominantlyfrom vegetables. We get vitaminspredominantly from fresh raw fruits.Cooking will not destroy minerals.Cooking and preserving does destroyvitamins and enzymes.

We all understand that our health isdirectly influenced by our diet. A wellbalanced diet includes a variety of fruit,berries and vegetables with lean meats,fish, pulses and beans. Choosing PureH2O to drink, instead of tap or bottledwater, can only enhance our body’sability to transport and utilise minerals,vitamins and other nutrients whilstimproving

ORGANIC VERSUS INORGANIC MINERALSThere are two types of minerals, organicand inorganic. Human physiology has abiological affinity for organic minerals.Most minerals for body functions areabsorbed from dietary plant foods. Agrowing plant converts the inorganicminerals from the soils to a usefulorganic mineral. When an organicmineral (from a plant food) enters thestomach it attaches itself to a specificprotein-molecule(a process calledchelation) in order to be absorbed, andthen it gains access to the tissue siteswhere it is needed. Once a plantmineral is absorbed within the body, it isutilized as a coenzyme for composingbody fluids, forming blood and bonecells, and the maintaining of healthynerve transmission.
