Based on Letechnics successful Plato 200R GPS Disciplined Clock Generator, the Plato 220provides all of the functionality of its predecessor plus additional features to suit modern networksynchronisation requirements. The 220 can act as an IEEE 1588 Grand Master and/or SyncE Masterand it can use a remote 1588 or SyncE master as either its primary reference or as a backup toGNSS.Uses include synchronisation of telecommunications networks, computer networktimekeeping and frequency/time reference for laboratories and transmission.The product provides the most commonly needed signal output protocols as standard. Holdover,in the event of GNSS signal loss, is provided by a 0.1ppb oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) for demanding holdover requirements.
