[57] Abstract:

A method in disease surveillance particularly a health incident information management system that includes geotagging activities. It generates data according to the information given or reported by the users in the community, categorizes information by color coded tags and arranges them by reports and symptoms. The primary purpose is to help make health services more accessible to the people since the reporting of health incident will be done through the use of the application. Its thrust is to establish a system that makes use of modern technology in order to make the tasks of the health workers become less tedious because the manual recording of health incidents and the computing of statistics will be eliminated. Furthermore, the burden of reaching out to the community could be lessened because the application facilitates the dissemination of information in the community by notifying users of available health program activities in the barangay.
