MR WOLFGANG WELSGerman Ministry of Food & Agriculture (BMEL):
For the BMEL it is the first time this year to be a part of iran food & hospitality. We see big potential in the Iranian market for our “Made in Germany” products. Our small and medium sized enterprises (SME) offer very high quality products which is key in the Iranian market. I am satisfied with my participation at iran food
+ hospitality as I reached lots of importers and distributors.
MR HANS ULRICH BIERICEO - Swiss Food:
We are participating in the exhibition for the first time. Iran is a very big market with high potential which will still increase in the future. We also hope that Iranian tourists will visit Switzerland and test our products. Iranians are interested in the Swiss food specialties. We have experience to start business in new countries. Our
main target is to identify the chances for business and opportunities.
MS NORADEE TANTRAMONGKOLCounsellor - Thai Embassy:
Thailand would like to export more products to the Iranian market. The Thai government would like to assist Thai companies to do this. It is a large market with buying power. Thailand has many food and beverage products. We are the leading food exporter of the world. Thailand is the sixth largest exporter of Halal food products in the
world. With the sanctions lifted, more Thai companies would like to do more trade and investment business in Iran. However, the Iranian government needs to relax some import regulations and taxes. Our main targets for our participation at iran food + hospitality were to find business partners, Iranian distributors and importers and also to introduce our products to the consumers. We are satisfied with our participation so far.
MS IRINA TRESHUKDirector Marketing - Almira at Ukraine Pavilion:
Since 2013 we are the leading Ukrainian exporter of dairy products. Now we are dedicated to develop and intensify our relations with new markets like Iran. After sanctions were lifted we hope to significantly increase the volume of our supply to Iran. By participating at iran food + hospitality we are looking for new partners and
we hope to get more information about the market from the visitors. We are also going to open a representative office in Iran.
