    The number of vacancies including reserved vacancies given above are tentative only and mayincrease or decrease and also include 09 posts of Safaiwalla (Sweeper). Horizontal reservation

    will be applicable irrespective of the categories under vertical reservation. Duties attached with

    the posts advertised include all such duties and responsibilities as expected from a peon/watchman/Gardener/Waterman in a Government Office like dusting/cleaning of the rooms of the officers /

    sections /furnitures etc., moving of dak, supplying or drinking water, photocopying, binding orfiles, watch and ward of Government building/properties, Gardening, Messenger etc. and any

    other duties assigned by the higher authorities from time to time. The person recruited will be

    posted in the abovementioned offices of t he Indian Audit and Accounts Department. Presently, allIndia service liability is not involved. However persons recruited are liable to be posted in any new

    IA&AD offices or sub offices that may be created in the State of Odisha. Persons recruited in O/o Pr.Director of Audit, ECoR, Bhubaneswar are liable to be posted at its divisional offices at

    Vishakhapatnam, Khurda and Sambalpur as also any new divisional offices that may be created

    in future. 2. Nationality / Citizenship: The applicant must be either: a. a citizen of India, or b. asubject of Nepal, or c. a subject of Bhutan, or d. a Ti betan refugee who came over to India before

    1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or e. a person of Indian-originwho has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the

    United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, E thiopia

    31.12.1989); v. Up to a maximum of 35 years of age (up to 40 years for members of ScheduledCaste/ Scheduled Tribes and 38 years for OBC) in the case of widows, divorced women and

    women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried subject to production

    of copy of the j udgment/decree of the appropriate Court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial

    separation; vi. Up to a maximum of three years (8 years for SC/ST and 6 years for OBCscandidates) in the case of Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with anyforeign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof; vii. No age

    relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC candidates against unreserved posts; viii. As per orders of

    the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, casual workers, who have been earlier engaged atleast for two years as on last day of-submission of application in the concerned offices of the

    Indian Audit & Accounts Department to which the vacancies r elate, will also be eligible for agerelaxation to the extent of per iod of their engagement as casual labourers. This relaxation would

    be over and above the relaxation admissible to the SC/ST/OBC/PH/ Ex-S candidates. 3(C) Age

    Concession for Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with extant Government ordersissued by the Government from time to time as indicated below: Ex-Servicemen; fulfilling the

    conditions laid down by the Government from time to time shall be allowed to deduct militaryservice from their actual age and such resultant age should not exceed the prescrobed age limit

    by more than 3 years (6 years in case of OBC and 8 years in case of SC/ST). Ex-servicemen

    candidates allowed under this age concession will be eligible to compete for all the vacancieswhether reserved for them or not. Explanation: An Ex-Serviceman means a person who has

    served in any r ank whether as a combatant or non-combatant in the Regular Army, Navy, Air Forceof the Indian Union, and (i) who retired from such service after earning his/her pension. This

    would also include persons who are retired/retire at their own request but after having earned

    their pension; or (ii) who has been released from such service on medical grounds or attributableto military service/circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability

    pension; or (iii) who has been released, o therwise than on his-own request from such service as

    a result of reduction in establishment; or (iv) who has been released from such service aftercompleting the specific period of engagements, otherwise than at his own request or by way of

    dismissal or discharges on account of misconduct or inefficiency, a nd has been g iven-a gratuity;and includes personnel of the Territorial Army of the fo llowing categories, namely:- a. Pension

    holders for continuous embodied service, b. Persons with disability attributable to military service;

    and c. Gallantry award winners.Note: (i) Ex-Servicemen who have- already joined government job in civil side after availing of t he

    benefits given t o Ex-Servicemen for their re-employment are also eligible for the age concession.However, such candidates will not be eligible for the benefit of reservation as Ex- Note: (ii) The

    period of Call up Service of an Ex-Serviceman in the Armed Forces shall also be treated as

    service rendered in the Armed Forces for the purpose of Para 3(C) above. Note: (iii) For anyservice member of the three Armed Forces of the Union to be treated as Ex-Serviceman for the

    Note:(iv) Age Concession is Not Admissible to the Sons, Daughters And Dependents of Ex-Servicemen. Explanation: The persons serving i n the Armed Forces of t he Union, who on retirement

    continue to be 8th class pass are non-Matriculate, they will be required to submit a certificate

    indicating th eir Date of Birth as p er records of the recognized Educational Institution, from wherethey have passed 8th class, duly counter signed by the Inspector of Schools / District Education

    Officer. Note 1: Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in the certificatesubmitted along wi th application will be accepted by the office and no subsequent reques for its

    change will be considered or granted. Note 2: Candidates should also note that once a date of

    birth has been claimed by them and entered in the records of the office for the purpose, nochange will be allowed subsequently on any grounds whatsoever. Note 3: The candidate should

    exercise due care while e ntering their date of birth in the Application Form. If on verification at anysubsequent stage, any variation is found in their date of birth from the one entered in their

    Matriculation or equivalent examination ce rtificate, disciplinary action will b e taken against them by

    the office under the Rules. 3 (E) Requirement of Certificates For Reservation: The details,of thecategories of disabilities allowed / eligible for the posts in accordance with extant guidelines of

    following conditions will have to be fulfilled: 1. These candidates will have to pass 10th from anyrecognized Board o f Education/National Open School. 2. Such candidates shall have to pass 10th

    within a period of two (02) years. Failure to do so shall entail termination of services. 3. They

    would also have to undergo prescribed multi skilling training. On confirmation, they would beplaced in Pay Band I with grade pay of Rs.1800. Period spent in pay band is will not be counted

    as service for seniority etc. Note- 2: Those candidates who do not fulfill the minimum educationalqualification as on 01.01.2010 are not eligible and need not apply for the post. The certificate in

    support of minimum educational qualification should be f rom a recognized Board. 5. No person: a)

    who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or b) whohaving a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be

    eligible for appointment to the se rvice. Provided that Government of India may, If satisfied that

    such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the otherparty to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the

    operation of t his rule. 6. A candidate must be in good me ntal and bodily health and free from anyphysical defect likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of his/her duties if in the se rvice. A

    (Ministry of Home Affairs)RECRUITMENT OF DRIVER AND DRIVERS-CUM-PUMP OPERATORS IN CISF 2010Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts ofDriver and Driver-Cum-Pump Operator in Central Industrial Security Force in the Pay Band - 1

    Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central

    Government employees from time to time. They will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as wellas Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Acts and

    Rules, applicable from time to time. On a ppointment t hey shall be entitled for the pension benefitsas per the New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme applicable for the new

    entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 01-01-2004.

    Note: 1. The recruitment is open to all MALE Indian citizens only. 2. These vacancies may

    increase or decrease depending upon the position at t he time of final selection without any notice.

    3. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. 4. Selected candidates are liable to be

    posted anywhere in the country according to transfer policy of the Force. 5. The recruitment will

    be conducted on All India basis. 2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: a) Age The crucial date for determining

    age limit will be the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates i.e, 24-08-2010.

    01. Between 20 and 25 years. 02. Upper age upto 05 years is also relaxable for those persons

    who had o rdinarily been domiciled in the State of J & K during the period from 1st Jan 1980 to 31st

    Dec 1989. The person claiming relaxation under this category should produce a certificate to the

    effect that they had been domiciled in the State of J&K during the period from 1st

    January 1980 to31st December 1989 from the District Magistrate within whose jurisdiction they had ordinarily

    resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Government of Jammu and

    Kashmir. .03. The upper age limit is also relaxable upto 35 years in the case of serving employees

    of CISF provided they have-rendered minimum two years continuous service in Force and

    completed their probation period satisfactorily. 04. Upper age limit upto 5 years is also relaxable

    further to the children and dependents of victims KILLED in the 1984 riots and communal riots of

    2002 in Gujarat. Children Means (a ) son (including adopted son) or (b) daughter (including adopted

    daughter) Dependent family member means (a) spouse or (b) children or (c) brother or

    sister in the case of unmarried victim who was wholly dependent on that victim at the time of his

    getting killed in the riots would be eligible. NOTE : This advertisement pertains to recruitment of

    Constable/Driver & Constable/ DCPO (Male), therefore, only male children and male dependents of

    victims KILLED in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat will only be considered. In

    order to be eligible for upper age relaxation in this category, the applicant should produce a

    certificate to that effect from the concerned District Collector/District Magistrate wherein the

    victim was killed. 05. In addition to the above upper age is further rel axable by 05 years in respect

    of SC/ ST and 03 years in respect of OBC candidates as per Govt. orders. b) Educational

    Qualification: (a) The candidate should have passed Matriculation or 10th

    Class from a recognized

    Board or University b) Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be

    accompanied with Government of I ndia notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent

    to Matric/ 10th class pass for service under Central Government. c) Driving Licence: The candidate

    should have a valid driving licence for both Heavy Motor Vehicle.Attention is drawn to the following clause in the Motor Vehicle Act 1988,

    a) Section (4) Age limit in connection.with Driving of Motor Vehicles. (i) No person under the age

    of 18 years shall drive a Motor Vehicle in.any public place. (ii) No per son under the age of 20 years

    shall drive a Transport Vehicle in any public place. b) Section (7) Restr ictions on the granting of

    Learners License for certain Vehicles (i) No person shall be granted a learners license to drive

    a Transport Vehicle unless he has held a driving license to drive a Light Motor Vehicle for at le ast

    01 year. Note: 1 . Unless the above provisions o f Motor Vehicle Act are complied in the documents

    (Driving License) submitted by the candidates, the Driving License will be treated as invalid as per

    Motor Vehicle Act and the candidature will be rejected. 2. LMV licence obtained before attaining

    the age of 18 years and HMV/Transport Vehicle Licence obtained before attaining the age of 20

    years will not be considered valid unless a certificate from the concerned RTO regarding the

    validity of the licence is enclosed and the candidature will be rejected. d) Experience 03 years

    experience of driving Light Motor Vehicle and Heavy Motor Vehicle (Transport Vehicle) as on date

    of report ing for recruitment. The experience in driving will be calculated from the date of issue of

    licence for Light Motor Vehicles. If driving experience is from a date after the issue of LMV

    Licence then experience will be calculated from that date. NOTE: The Driving License must

    contain the date of issue of both LMV and HMV licenses. In case the Driving License does not

    contain the date of issue either of LMV license or HMV license then a certificate from the

    concerned RTO indicating the date of issue of LMV and/or HMV license as the case may be

    should be obtained and producted before the recruitment board on the date of recruitment, else

    the candidature will be rejected.

    with the efficient performance of the duties. II. FOR DEPARTMENTAL CANDIDATES : The

    departmental Constable (GD) can appear for absorption to the post of Constable/ Driver, whileConstable (Fire) can appear for absorption to the post of Con stable/DCPO. They should possess

    the eligibility criteria at par with direct candidates as mentioned in para 2 (i) above. In addition tothis, they should have completed two years regular service in their respective grades and also

    completed their probation period sa tisfactorily. III. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAFOR EX-SERVICEMEN

    CANDIDATES: a) Lance Naik or Sepoy in the Army or equivalent rank in the Air Force or Navyhaving trade of Driver are eligible to apply for the post of Constable/Driver as well as Constable/

    DCPO. Ex-servicemen holding the rank of H avildar/Naik or equivalent rank in the Army/ Air Force/Navy and having trade of Driver may also compete in this recruitment for lower post provided they

    fulfill the eligibility criteria and also they f urnish their willingness in writing that in t he event of their

    selection they will not claim the post equivalent to the rank they were holding in the DefenceForces. Ex-servicemen means a person who has served in any rank (whether as a combatant

    or as a non-combatant) in t he Regular Army, Navy and Air Force of t he Indian Union but does notinclude a person who has served in the Defence Security Corps, the General Reserve Engineering

    Force, the Lok Sahayak Sena and the paramilitary forces; and (a) who has retired from such

    service after earning his/her pension; or (b) who has been released from such service on

    medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awardedmedical or other disability pension; or (c) who has been released, otherwise than on his ownrequest, from such service as a result of reduction in establishment; or (d) who has been

    released from such service after completing the specific period of engagement, otherwise than

    at his own re quest or by way of dismissal or discharge on account o f misconduct or inefficiency,and has been given a gratuity, and includes personnel of the Territorial Army, of the following

    categories, namely:-(i) pension holders for continuous embodied services; (ii) gallantry awardwinners. The Territorial Army Personnel will be treated as Ex-servicemen with effect from 15-11-

    1986. The person serving in the Armed Forces of the Union, who on retirement from service,

    would come under the category of the Ex-servicemen as explained above may also apply forthese posts one years before (as on the date of recruitment) completion of the specified term of

    engagement. They shall not leave the Uniform until they complete the specified term of engagementin the Armed Forces of the Union. Such candidates should submit a certificate from the Commanding

    Officer concerned as per Appendix - F b) Age : They shall be allowed to deduct the period of

    Army service from their actual age and the resultant age should not exceed the maximum age limitprescribed for these posts by more than three years. The upper age limit shall be further relaxable

    up to 05 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates on production of castecertificates in the prescribed format .The crucial date for determining age limit will be the closing

    date for receipt of application from candidates. i.e. 24-08-2010 c) Break in service : Should not be

    more than 03 years from the date of discharge from Army/Navy/Air Force as on the closing datefor receipt of application f rom candidates. i.e . 24-08-2010 d) Educational qualification : Matriculation

    or equivalent or Army 1st class certificate or equivalent of Air Force and Navy. e) Medical

    category : A (AYE) or SHAPE-I at the time of discharge. f) Character on discharge : Exemplary/Very Good. g) Driving Licence!: Ex-Servicemen candidates who have been issued LMV/HMV

    licence on the same day have to submit a certificate from the concerned RTO to the effect thatthe licence is valid otherwise their candidature will be rejected. h) The other eligibility conditions

    will be the same as applicable to others as mentioned under eligibility criteria. 3. SELECTIONPROCEDURE: The selection procedure for Con stable/Driver & DCPO for all type of the candidates

    i.e. Direct/Departmental/ Ex-servicemen will be as under: - a) Eligibility test:The eligibility criteria i.e.

    Age, Educational Qualification, Height, Chest, Driving Licence,Driving Experience etc. for therespective posts will be verified by the Recruitment Board from the original certificates produced

    by the candidates in accordance with the standards prescribed in the advertisement. Those whodo not confirm to the eligibility criterion as advertised should not be considered. Those found

    qualified in the eligibility criteria will be put through following PET events:

    b) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET)Events Time. Condition.

    be finally selected. f) APPEAL AGAINST MEDICAL UNFITNESS In all cases a candidate, who has

    been declared UNFIT for appointment in CISF in the Medical Examination will be communicated the

    grounds for rejection in broad terms by the. Examining Medical Officer. The candidate, if not

    satisfied with the findings of the Medical Examination, can submit an appeal for REVIEW MEDICAL

    EXAMINATION within one mon th from the date on which the candidate has been declared unfit,

    with a proof of his fitness in the prescribed form as per Appendix - H.The Medical certificate will

    not be taken into consideration unless i t contains a note by t he medical practitioner concerned to

    the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been

    declared unfit for appointment by a Medical Officer. The appeal will also not be taken intoconsideration unless it contains Review Medical Examination Fee of Rs.25/- (Rupees twenty five

    only) through Demand Draft. (The details of authority to whom the appeal should be submitted and

    DDO concerned and payable branch etc will be mentioned in the rejection slip itself to be issued

    by the Examining Medical Officer/ Cha irman of the Recruitment Board). 4. DISQUALIFICATION No

    Person (a) Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having spouse living OR

    (b) Who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with another person.

    Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the

    personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other

    grounds for so to do, exempt any person from the operation of this rule. 5. HOW TO APPLY:

    irregularity like mutilated or damaged application/documents etc. 18. Candidates should come duly

    prepared for 8-10 days stay under their own arrangements at the Recruitment Centre No TA/DA

    will be admissible for the journey and stay. Mobile Phone and Calculator are st rictly prohibited in

    the recruitment venue. 19. In case a candidate is found unfit/ineligible for service on any ground

    after his selection/ appointment his service will be terminated without a ssigning any reason. X20.
