Get a bird’s eye view of the city from the open-air observation deck of the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the highest point in the city open to the public or head to the air-conditioned Central Market to browse its stalls and shops for all kinds of souvenirs, with no bargaining necessary (entrance fees not included).

This ship will arrive into Langkawai this morning for a day at leisure. Langkawi’s appeal extends from sea level to its hilly interior. Adrenaline seekers may choose to travel to 2,300 feet above sea level on the Langkawi Sky Bridge and enjoy the amazing view of the surrounding rain forests and nearby islands (not included). If sea level is more your preference, relaxing on Cenang Beach or taking part in some duty-free shopping in Kuah Town may be just your thing.



Day 5 Phuket, Thailand – Arrive 8:00am

Dock in Phuket this morning where the ship will remain over night to allow 2 full days to explore this stunning slice of Thailand at leisure. Experience the many facets of Phuket, from its gorgeous beaches, to its 19th century Chinese and Western architecture and stunning Buddhist temples. Take the opportunity to explore the breathtaking Phang Nga National Park, made famous by the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (not included). see the Malé Friday Mosque, built in 1658, and experience its ornate architecture. A suggestion to include in your say is snorkelling among the many atolls that surround the capital or stop at one of the many restaurants and shops along Majeedhee Magu for a local bite to eat.

This morning the ship will dock in Port Victoria where the ship will remain docked overnight. Located on Mahé Island in the Indian Ocean, it’s famous for its exports of vanilla and coconut oil. Take a stroll through the Seychelle National Botanical Gardens full of flora, fauna and fruit bats. Stop by the Selwyn-Clarke Market for some street shopping, settle in for some sun at Beau Vallon Beach or visit the Navasakthi Vinayagar hindu temple.

This morning the ship will cruise into Muscat, an incredible ancient city. View Muscat from above by travelling on the Corniche and head out along the scenic Batinah coast (not included). The medieval Nakhl Fort, perched on a rocky outcrop, offers magnificent views of the mountains and oasis below. The colourful Sultan’s palace and the Jelali and Merani forts are worth visiting (entrance fees not included), and if you seek to experience Omani culture, a stroll through the markets and narrow alleys is ideal.



Day 20 Khasab, Oman -8:00am to 5:00pm

This morning, prepare to be amazed as you dock into Khasab. Located on the tip of Oman’s Musandam peninsula, an enclave separated from the rest of the country, Khusab has been described as the “Norway of Arabia.” Its many beautiful fjord-like inlets and stark landscapes created by geologic shifting

are striking, and the clear, calm waters are home to dolphins, which can be often be spotted interacting with boats. This quiet enclave is also home to Khasab Castle, a small fort where you can learn about the history of the area and local traditions (entrance fees not included).



Day 21 Abu Dhabi, UAE – 8:00am to 5:00pm

This morning you will dock in Abu Dhabi. The world’s richest city boasts a wealth of culture, history and adventure, from the emirate’s old souks, where you can sip a fragrant Arabic coffee, to the rush of the world’s fastest rollercoaster. TOUR GUIDE VS. TOUR LEADER

Tour Guide:

Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group.

Tour Leader:

An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction

once there and if caught doing so, can be fined.

CLIMATE & AVERAGE TEMPERATURES

Indonesia:

Split by the equator, indonesia has an almost entirely tropical climate, with the coastal plains averaging 28°C.

Maldives:

In March, temperatures in the Maldives rise to an average maximum of 31°C – great for long days on the beach. Possible short bursts of rain offer relief from the hot temperatures. Visibility for diving and snorkelling is excellent

Seychelles:

The Seychelles’ climate is one which is always warm and does not reach extremes of heat or cold. The temperature rarely drops below 24°C or rises above 32°C.

Oman:

In Oman, the climate is tropical desert almost everywhere, with some summer rains in both the northern and southern mountain areas. Around the coastal fringe of Oman - The Gulf of Oman, the temperatures for swimming are perfect.

United Arab Emrites:

The climate of Dubai, the most populous of the United Arab Emirates, is subtropical desert, with very mild or pleasantly warm winters. Every so often, from December to February, and more rarely in March, there can be some cool days.

Thailand:

Phuket has a tropical climate. Thanks to its position in the Andaman Sea, the weather is mostly mild with a dry season between December and March. There

may be some showers during the dry season, though very rare.

Singapore:

Due to its geographical location and maritime exposure, Singapore’s climate is characterised by high humidity and abundant rainfall. The average temperature is between 25°C and 31°C. Thunderstorms occur on 40% of all days. January is the coolest month.

A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries. You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Norwegian Cruise Line is an internationally registered company & operates to US & European standards, both of which have an economy driven by a gratuities culture. Shopping:

Shopping overseas can be a daunting and confusing experience, especially when there is a language barrier. Please be very cautious when foreign currencies and prices are involved.
