People can join the Roll once they are over the age of 16 and are baptised; have regularly attended worship at the church for 6 months; are resident in the Parish; have completed the Electoral Roll form. Anyone on the Electoral Roll can stand for the Church Council and can vote at the Annual Church Meeting (on 24 April). 7.30pm, Wed 24 March, St George’s At the ACM we will be celebrating what God had done at St George's over the past 12 months and we will also be looking to appoint 6 new people to the Church Council (PCC). The PCC meets every 2 months and its role is to share oversight of the mission and finances of the church with the Rector and other staff. A wide representation of different ages and ministries is key to making the PCC work well. If you think this is a ministry for you, then speak to a churchwarden/member of staff/Dave Sankey or Janet Gibson. Job descriptions and application forms for the PCC are available in the Foyer. Remember that you must be on the Electoral Roll to stand for the Council.
