Category: The Mini-Kore Pendant is the latest extension of Tegan’s Kore Concept. The Knitted Series blends technology with tradition. The knitted acrylic and cotton threads are in fixed patterns to create a three-dimensional design. It is a combination of industrial knitting with a hand “crocheted” knitted accent. The Knitted fabric covers the rigid glass sphere to create a luminaire with an organic feel and a deep, rich, colorful texture. Mini-Kore is a modularized design with a variety of Gems, unique shades, finishes and mounting options. Designers can specify one of Tegan’s Gems and/or shades or design their own unique concept. Mounts to all of the Tegan Trac Systems and Monopoints with SJ Cord (SJ) or Stem (SS), with 24VDC operation and dimming driver options.

Material: Mini-Kore Pendant: Aluminum and steel heat sink and mounting. Gems: Machined acrylic, frosted. Shades: White Glass with integral painted white aluminum collar and 100% acrylic and 100% cotton knitting. Dry clean Knitted; only.

Mini-Kore Finish: Anodized Aluminum (AL), Anodized Black (BLK). Contact factory for Bronze and other special order anodized finishes. 88” (2.23m) field-cuttable Black SJ Cord Supplied with the Black finish and Clear SJ Cord supplied with Aluminum finish. Field-Cuttable Stems: 79” (2m) for Anodized Aluminum (AL) and Anodized Black (BLK) finish. Shade: Knitted Shades are installed on the Mini-Kore Vidro Orb hand-blown glass shades in two standard sizes and three standard colors (Uri - Chocolate with a Chili accent; Lior - Stone with a Cream accent; Ora - Fog with a Stone accent). Mini-Kore Shade - Knitted Orb - 6” Dia. - Uri (KN-O-6-URI), Mini-Kore Shade - Knitted Orb - 6” Dia. - Lior (KN-O-6-LIOR), Mini-Kore Shade - Knitted Orb - 6” Dia. - Ora (KN-O-6-ORA), Mini-Kore Shade- Knitted Orb - 8” Dia. - Uri (KN-O-8-URI), Mini-Kore Shade - Knitted Orb - 8” Dia. - Lior (KN-O-8-LIOR), Mini-Kore Shade - Knitted Orb - 8” Dia. - Ora (KN-O-8-ORA). Knitted shades are artistic, hand-crocheted shades that are made to order. As a result, there may be minor variations shade-to-shade within the same order. Shade Designer: Ariel Zuckerman, an award winning product designer, whose products have been displayed in various exhibitions museums and galleries, and published around the world.

Source: High Wattage Array Cree LED, 2-Step Macadam. 14W @ 1200 lumens (see “Optics” section below) with 3000K 82-85 CRI typical. All values are initial lumens. Systems: Mini-Kore Pendant is used with one of Tegan’s versatile connectors (Pendant connector is specified separately), which enables easy connection to the full range of Systems and Monopoints. Mini-Kore pendants can be used in conjunction with 24VDC dedicated LED Spots.

Connectors: Connectors are used with Pendant as specified (Pendant connector is specified separately). Centro Trac Connector (CTC), Retrac Connector (RTCN), Duplex Cable Connector (DCC), Monopoint - No connector required (MP).

Optics: Preliminary lumen data stated. Photometric Test (LM79/IES Files) in process by an independent testing lab. The test will be posted when complete. Power Supply: The dedicated LED Pendant has an Internal 24V DC controller integral to the Pendant mounting stem. This allows many 24VDC Pendants/Spots to be controlled together on a system with the use of a required remote “master” Driver. Refer to 24VDC Driver Specsheet #13 for driver options and Qty’s ofMini-Kore’s allowed per driver.
