Subject: Material and Part Number Change for Wave 4B PTR # 284: OCS 0.50 F SN PTR # 287: OCS 1.5 F AG Unsealed and Matte Seal PTR # 293: OCS 1.5 F SLD SN Sealed (Cable Seal) PTR # 298: OCS 2.8 F SLD SN Sealed (Cable Seal) Supply from KMD is extremely tight, regionally and globally. Thus, APTIV will not be in position to guarantee shipment of the old part numbers after the dates shown below. Aptiv Connection Systems Product Engineering has completed validation for material change from C19002 CuNiSi to C19010 CuNiSi alloy used on the OCS Female Terminals listed below. Validation included mechanical, electrical and environmental testing, which was completed for the C19010 alloy using the same application standards as C19002 alloy. Validation data is available upon request. Functionality of the terminals is not impacted. ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: The last day Aptiv plants can ship the old part numbers is the “End Effective Date” noted in the table below. Thus, EDI Transmission for orders of CURRENT Part Numbers must be submitted by the “Requirements Schedule Effective Date”. CURRENT PART NUMBERS HAVE BEEN RESTRICTED AND WILL BE OBSOLETED ON “END EFFECTIVE DATE”.
