“The Chronicles of Titirangi, Mt Wellington and Kelston Schools
for the Deaf 1942-2010” is a 544 page book that includes 79
pages of colour photographs of the rich history of the three
schools. Most of the content comes from school hostel daily
diaries, school logs, yearbooks and photos from the timeline. This
has been a story over 68 years in the making. From the Second
World War to the present day the Deaf community have had a
strong connection to education and to the place where that
education was taking place.
