Three hundred one day old, unsexed growing Japanese quail

were performed to evaluate the effect of using the levels of

0.0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6% of Moringa leaves (ML) as feed

additions in Japanese quail diet on some productive

performance and carcass characteristics .

This study is a cross –sectional survey conducted among pre-

post-menopausal Lebanese worker women coming from

different workplaces in Keserwan and Byblos areas. The

participants were recruited using a stratified random sampling

method. Four hundred Seventy Lebanese worker women

were included in this study (n=470; 289 premenopausal, 181

post- menopausal). None worker women and women

receiving hormonal treatment were excluded.

Biography

Nutrition and environmental exposure in utero have been suggested

to influence health later in life. The aim of this study was to

investigate, if the use of prenatal food supplements were associated

with atopic dermatitis in the offspring. Mothers who gave birth in

the hospital G.B. Grassi) were invited to participate in the study

(n=395). Information on socio-demographic characteristics, clinical

data of the mothers and babies, vegetables and fruit intake, food

avoidance and food supplements use during pregnancy, depression

status and environmental exposure was collected for all subjects in

the hospital at the time of delivery.

Ruba Musharbash holds a Ph.D. degree in nutrition and

dietetics, from Jordan University. Her Doctoral research

investigated the prevalence of food addiction in Jordan and its

correlates with obesity, BMI, gender, besides exploring the

effect of weight loss reducing programs on subjects with food

addiction. Her main research interests centers on food

addiction prevalence and obesity management.

Robizon Tsiklauri has good experience in nutritiology, clinical epidemiology and

research’s, working during many years in relevant fields, and has made training

programs for doctors, which was about problems in Nutritiology and clinical

epidemiology issues. He is reading several lectures in High Medical University,

attending many popular TV & Radio programs of educating population and Health

workers in nutritiology. He is managing of postdoctoral educational programme of

qualification at the Tbilisi State Medical University. In 2005-2007 he used to be

temporary advisor of WHO (Europe regional office of Europe) in Food and Nutrition

field.

Luke Stanaway is currently completing his PhD in Exercise

and Sport Science at Massey University, New Zealand. He

obtained his first journal publication in the first year of his

PhD, with a systematic review in Nutrients and currently has

a primary research article under review.
