The Organising committee invite presentations from all topics relating togeochemical applications in mapping and exploration, data mining andanalysis, mineral and geothermal resources, and environmental studiesand in particular:

On receipt of acceptance of an abstract for oral presentation, the presentermust supply a short biography that can be used by the session chairpersonto introduce the speaker. This biography should be no more than 50 wordslong and should be submitted at the same time as registration.
Students are encouraged to submit papers for oral or poster presentation.Students are eligible for reduced registration, short course and field tripfees and some other incentives. For example, the Association of AppliedGeochemists will provide support to a number of students to attend the26 IAGS. See: www.appliedgeochemists.org/index.php/students.Specific funding incentives will also be available to geothermal students,and will be notified on the IAGS 2013 web site as they are developed.

Posters should be AO size and of a portrait orientation. There will be twoposter sessions during the conference in which the presenters will have theopportunity to present their posters to delegates.

The New Zealand Geothermal Workshop (NZGW) normally produces aproceedings volume containing full papers. This facility will also be availablein 2013 for papers associated with NZGW session presentations. Thecollection of NZGW abstracts will be the same as for IAGS. However, thecollection of NZGW papers will be separate, because a full review process isrequired. Details on how to submit your NZGW paper will be available later.31 July is the deadline for receipt of full papers for NZGW.
Oral presentations will be allocated 20 minutes. However, if the number ofsubmissions exceeds the total time available for presentations, thepresentation time may be reduced to 15 minutes.
