Weekly Progress
Today the Engineering Team conducted a presentation on how to use the Low-Cost Multi-point Interactive Whiteboards Using the Wiimote to the Designing Team. Although the Low-Cost Multi-point Interactive Whiteboards Using the Wiimote functions only 80% due to difficulty in detecting signal of the remote control, the Designing Team however appreciates the result of this project. Thus next week we will need to complete the project 100%. The various tasks the Designing Team assigned to the Engineering Team were to search for information on eliminating the smell of food, differences of energy consumption between traditional Thai stoves and the modern electrical stoves, types of materials which do not absorb smell, spreading directions of smoke, placing air conditioners not to cause the spreading of smoke, as well as preserving the smell of charcoal from cooking with electrical stoves similarly to using traditional Thai stoves. According to the research, the smoke rises from the floor up to the ceiling and later changes its direction horizontally. The pattern of this float is called Ceiling Jet. In the case of flat ceiling - having no obstacles - the smoke will flow freely. On the other hand, if the ceiling is rather rough - having particular obstacles - the smoke will flow freely in radial directions in the channel flow.

Engineering Analysis
Strong Point - Teamwork - Thinking logically
Weak Point - Don’t understand in float of smoke - Careless
Next Week Job
Engineering Team will present ideas, obtaining from doing the research, to the Designing Team and later develop the products into reality
