Domogan and Kosmos Energies-Ke represented by Associate Director and Founder Ms. Beatrice De Lippe, relative to the latter's conduct of feasibility study on the implementation of the valorization in electricity of the waste of the Local Government Unit. Committee Report Nr. TOURISM-2014-001 Letter dated 07 January 2014 of Mr. Anthony R. De Leon, Chairman, Executive Committee, Baguio Flower Festival Foundation, Inc., seeking approval for the closure and use of the venues and dates indicated therein and asking the re-routing of Victory Liner buses to load and unload their passengers at the Baguio Convention Center grounds instead of the new terminal from 5:00 AM to 12:00 on February 1, 22 and 23, 2014.

The Committee on Tourism , Special Events, Parks and Playgrounds recommends that the request of Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. for closure of roads be approved only for the following details:

a. February 1, 2014 - GRAND OPENING PARADE: DRUM AND LYRE COMPETITION Details: Along South Drive entrance of Teacher's Camp up to the Panagbenga Park along South Drive; from Panagbenga Park along South Drive to Lower Session Road; Session Road, Magsaysay Ave. up to the intersection fronting the Center Mall; from the intersection of Harrison Road fronting Hotel Veniz up to the intersection of Harrison Road and Lake Drive fronting the Baguio Patriotic School, from 1:00 am to 1:00 pm;

b. February 22, 2014 - GRAND STREET DANCING PARADE Details: From South Drive, Military Cut-Off Rotunda to Lower Session Road, Magsaysay Road, and Harrison Road from 1:00 am up to 1:00 pm; c. February 23, 2014 - GRAND FLOAT PARADE Details: From South Drive, Military Cut Off Rotunda to Lower Session Road, Session Road and Harrison Road from 1:00 am to 1:00pm;

d. February 24, 2014 to March 2, 2014 - SESSION ROAD IN BLOOM Details: Closure of Session Road (from SM Rotunda to Malcolm Square Mercury Drug) immediately after the float parade and other presentations of exhibitors from 12:00 pm on midnight of March 2, 2014.

However, the Committee recommends that the request for the closure of Lake Drive from Ganza Restaurant to Solibao for market encounter and landscape contest be DISCUSSED EN BANC to tackle traffic concerns and issues on trade fair ordinance.

The Committee further recommends that the request for the use of all the venues as requested be all approved. (Item 8, 20 January 2014 Agenda)
