Dear Parents/Guardians, Another busy and productive week of engaging online learning throughout the Secondary School. Well done, your children have showcased their resilience and determination to succeed, throughthe intermittent power and internet issues we have faced this week. They have continued tosubmit the online tasks for feedback and marking and thank you for your partnership in thisimportant process. As always, if you are experiencing any difficulties with online learning, pleasecontact me through the usual channels. This week, we have been focusing on well-being in general and at this unusual time; it is soimportant.  Following on from the well-being advice in last week’s newsletter, in my weeklyassembly I highlighted a number of ways your sons/daughters can increase their sense of well-being whilst continuing to be ‘model’ students and family members. Following the assembly, students were asked to create a poster about what they find helpful to keep up their spirits andwell-being at home; we will share some with you through this newsletter next week. As you know, Friday 1st May is Labour Day, so let us all be mindful of the origins of Labour Day andensure we share a magic moment or two advocated within the recommended eight hours forrecreation within the Labour Day celebrations. School is closed for the day and we hope a longweekend away from screens is restful for us all. From all of the CIK Secondary, have a wonderfulLabour Day. There will be a number of fun events you will hear more about in the coming weeks in Secondarythis term including:
