27th Pharmacy Cup 2012-13

On the occasion of birthday of our Honourable Founder Dr. Patangraoji Kadam

and Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam ,Secretary Bharati Vidyapeeth, Poona College of

Pharmacy organized a State Level Cricket Tournament named 27th Pharmacy Cup

2012-13.

This tournament was organized between 16th January 2013 to 25th January 2013.

16 teams had participated in this tournament. Out of these 12 were representing

colleges and 4 were representing industries.

Inauguration ceremony was held on 16th January 2013 at ILS law College, Pune at

9:00 am. The chief guest were Dr. Sushilkumar Ghai ( MD,Tetramed Biotek).

Dr. K.R. Mahadik , Principal, Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune presided over the

function. All the teaching and non- teaching staff along with the students of Poona

College of Pharmacy and players of different cricket teams were present for the

function.

PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

Out of the 16 teams which participated , Poona College of Pharmacy , AISSMS

College of Pharmacy ,Pune. Sinhagad TES’S SKNCOP, Kondwa and Venky’s

India Pvt. Ltd. reached the semi-final.

The Prize Distribution ceremony was held at NCL ground on 25th January 2013 at

1.00 pm after the final match. The chief guest for the validatory function was

Mr. Prashant Jain ( MD , Jain pharmaceuticals ). Ms. Sonal Burande (HR,

Tetramed biotek) was the guest of honour. Dr. K. R. Mahadik presided over the

function.

The final match was played between A.I.S.S.M.S’S College of Pharmacy, Pune

and Venkys India(Pharmaceutical) Pvt.Ltd, Pune at NCL ground, Pashan, Pune.

AISSMS COP won the toss and elected to bat and could make only 96 runs in 20

overs . To which Venkys could easily manage the target with 6 overs to spare
