Drummer and composer Jonathan Silk leads a lively sextet playing music inspired by Maria Schneider and Bob Brookmeyer, with an electronic edge. The future looks bright for Silk after a stellar year where he won BBC Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year, released a critically acclaimed debut album, and was described as ‘one to watch’ by Jazzwise magazine.
