FLAB is an acronym for Fastening, Lubrication, Alignment and Balance - precision maintenance activities that influence the fundamental root causes of most mechanical and a large number of electrical failure mechanisms.

FLAB is the cornerstone of proactive reliability management. This one-day interactive workshop provides the delegate with an overview of the common problems and opportunities associated with proactive and precision maintenance.

Workshop 2: Engaging With Work Delivery Teams: Training for Productivity

People know that SAP PM installations are only used between 10 to 30% of their functionality but then need to know why and how to extend this capability for the benefit of their business.

This is a practical workshop emphasising the importance of ensuring that people across all roles know what SAP can do, what it means to use it more effectively and how they will help other teams by doing so. Importantly, an artisan provided with well-planned work will get it done on time and on cost, and a well scheduled team will get through more work with the same number of people. SAP reports have to underpin disciplined and effective meetings, guide work on the equipment and enable continuous improvement. None of this will happen without each person understanding their job and why the small steps which have never been done before are so important.

Workshop 4: Engaging with decision makers: Asset Management and SAP

The focus of Asset Management has moved from traditionally being the responsibility of Plant Maintenance to an end-to-end Asset Management Lifecycle. Asset Management is defined as: “The coordinated activities of an organisation to realise value from assets” (ISO 55000 Asset Management); And the definition of an asset is: “Something that has potential or actual value to an organisation” (ISO 55000 Asset Management).

This workshop will provide insight into how to align with the core asset management subject areas and the ERP system of an organisation; how to ensure that your organisation is following a clear and concise Asset Management Program, and what will have to be changed to adapt an Asset Management Program for your organisation.
