TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

This is to certify that Mr David Snow served as Head of Communications at WaterLex

International Secretariat between the 1st of May 2014 and the 30th of September 2015. Mr. Snow’s

work consisted both of the development of a Communications Strategy for WaterLex and overseeing

the implementation of this strategy since its finalisation and approval by the WaterLex Board. This

included strategic planning, overseeing the development and upkeep of printed and electronic

communications, maintaining and developing the website, engaging in social media outreach,

alignment to other internal structures in the organisation, and managing an events officer.

WaterLex is an international non-governmental organisation which develops sustainable

solutions based on human rights to improve water governance worldwide. WaterLex believes in a

world in which water resources management and governance secure human rights and sustainable

development to everyone.

During his service, Mr. Snow developed the Communications Strategy for WaterLex, strongly

improved the WaterLex Website, initiated the social media outreach of the organisation, oversaw the

production of numerous key electronic and physical publications of the organisation, developed and

implemented a policy for events planning and implementation, oversaw the activities of an Events

Officer, and provided general transversal support for the communications needs of the organisation in

countless ways.

I have found Mr. Snow to be a benefit to the organisation, efficiently combining long term

development of the communications department with strong practical implementation skills. His

technical knowledge in the field of communications has proven to be invaluable as has his mastery of

the English language for editing purposes. Mr. Snow is open, flexible, pleasant to work with, and

maintains high professional standards.

I am pleased to share with you my appreciation for his work and wish Mr. Snow every success in his

future endeavours.
