How does this media productrepresent particular social groups

This magazine is aimed at 14-25 year old male and female readers. This magazine is aimed at the younger audience; therefore using images of fairly young people was appropriate. This magazine represents the majority of young people as it has a mix of genres embedded into it.For a start, out of the 3 images on the left side of the double page spread, only one truly represents Hip Hop with the other two not really being related to Hip Hop. (This can be seen through the clothing of the artist or the general look) This magazine would appeal to many of the social classes (not upper middle or upper class) because the lower classes (C1 and below) are the ones who typically listen to the genres represented in this magazine. Finally the magazine will attract the more colourful audience because of its style and mix of colour (along with the actual features of the magazine)
