I would like to focus on drawing and self portraits. I would like to use a variety of materials including pencil, charcoal, oil pastel and ink. I would like you to experiment drawing on different types of materials like plastic, wood, linen, glass, cardboard, as well as different types of paper. These can be then used to make a mixed media collage of the class.

I would like you to start making self portrait drawings using a mirror. Use different materials and note the impressions you have. Eg. I find drawing on a softer material like linen that the colour is absorbed and more vibrant.
