COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER

Community Health Workers  help   members of their community access health and social services, learn to better manage their own health problems and live healthier lives.  Our  FREE Training includes: CHW Program includes: Certificate in Mental Health First Aid, OSHA 10-hour General Industry  certification training  , three other OSHA sponsored Health and Safety Trainings and a Community Nutrition Education Certificate from  Cornell Coop Extension

BRIDGE TO HEALTH CAREERS

Class Schedule : M-Th 8:30 am - 12:00 pm , F 8:30 am - 2:00 pm (16 weeks)

Bridge to Health Careers (BTH) is a free language and job readiness training for  immigrant English language learners who want to pursue a career in the healthcare field. Our intensive BTH   course prepares students to: Upon successfully completing the course, students will receive  help applying to healthcare training, health jobs, and connect with career counseling support.

Be 21 + years old and live in NYC

Be an English  language learner with a high

level of English in speaking, reading, and

writing .

Be authorized to work legally in the U.S.
