TRANSCRIPT
We here at DuBois Cricket Wireless would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and healthyspring season! As I’m sure you are all aware of the COVID-19 situation across the country, we wanted to
take a few minutes of your time to speak about what we as a business have been doing and what we hopeto offer to our customers in these unforeseen circumstances. First off, we are hoping that this pandemicresolves and that we can resume our lives as before, connecting with people in person and sharing our
stories. However, while we combat this situation as a country, DuBois Cricket Wireless remains in businessas an essential business in the telecommunications industry. Our job is to make sure that people can at the
very least stay connected via the cellular community, staying in each other’s touch, letting loved ones knowthey are doing well, and maintaining our spirits to the best of our abilities. While we are keeping our
reduced business hours (listed below) in the service of our customers, it becomes increasingly important torealize the safety behind doing this and the reality of staying afloat. From a safety standpoint, we are
following all the guidelines provided by the authorities to make sure that we are able to offer our serviceswithout contributing to the growth of this pandemic. All of our employees have been made aware of the
situation and are acting responsibly to take care of themselves while taking care of our customers. On the other hand, if any of our customers have cellular needs, we would be happy to see them at our
store in small numbers, keeping with the guidelines as put forth nationally. This would help us as a small business to remain in business and have a future beyond this pandemic.
We look forward to seeing you if need be and serving you as always!

Penn Highlands Healthcare invites community members and organizations to donate personal
protective equipment (PPE) for the regional healthcare system. Penn Highlands will add these
supplies to their inventory as the health system enacts preparedness measures in the event that the
spread of COVID-19 should pose a threat to our community. Penn Highlands Healthcare Supply
Chain Management has issued a list of the supplies that may potentially be needed: N95 respirator
masks (these must be N95), face masks, surgical masks, exam gloves, isolation gowns, head covers,
shoe covers and Sani-Cloth wipes. Donors may reach out to Alycia Scott, Procurement Specialist
(814-375-3391 or [email protected]) or Jennifer Bowser, MMIS Support Assistant (814-375-
3370 or [email protected]). For more information about COVID-19 as it may affect our
community, visit www.phhealthcare.org/coronavirus.
Companies seeking to Import or Manufacture Medical Products to Aid the U.S. Response to
COVID-19: If a company would like to import or produce medical products to help with the COVID-
19 response, please send these inquiries to FEMA at [email protected]. Please include as
many details as possible about the request (e.g., manufacturer name, address, product, and model
number) and contact information for the company, either an agent in the U.S. or the company
itself. If companies have medical supplies or equipment to donate, please email FEMA’s National
Business Emergency Operations Center at [email protected]. For additional information,

Clearly Ahead Development has been working with Pennsylvania's Department of Community &
Economic Development (DCED) to identify ways to alleviate some of the financial strains that the
Covid-19 pandemic is causing to businesses in the Commonwealth. We are pleased to announce
DCED launched a new funding program called the "Covid-19 Working Capital Access" program. This
loan program will REIMBURSE eligible companies for working capital expenses that have been
incurred within the past 3 months from the date of application. This means that a company which
applies for funding from this program will need to provide documentation for every single
reimbursable expense the business would like to receive funding for as working capital. If you wish to
apply for CWCA funds, please send an email to Rob Swales ([email protected]) or Paul
McCloskey ([email protected]) indicating that you would
like to apply to the CWCA program.
Chamber Business Members, we will get through this together. Although our Chamber
office is closed for walk-ins during this time, we’re still here for you in any way we can
be. If your business is able to remain open and you’re providing services or sale of
products – we want to know about it. Please reach out to us and include the
following: your service/product, business hours, contact information and current
company logo. We will help spread the word.
