1. What was our Big Idea from today? I Give Thanks For God’s Promises and Provision! 2. Let’s Practice our Scripture Memory Verse Psalm 100:4 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; Bless His name!” 3. Should we focus on what we do have or what we do not have? We should focus on all that God is doing, and all that we DO have instead of just what we DON’T have. 4. In our Bible story, what was the name of the group of people who were enslaved, set free, and journeyed through the wilderness? Israelites 5. In our Bible story, when the Israelites were hungry, who provided food for them? God. He provided a food called Manna. 6. After God provided for the Israelites with manna, how did they respond? They were satisfied and then began to complain. The Israelites chose to find reasons to complain in every circumstance. They refused to acknowledge all the sweet, miraculous, generous provision from the Lord. Because of that, the Israelites trip to the Promised Land was delayed. 7. What were the two takeaways from today’s message? I am thankful for His promises. I am thankful for His provision. Parents, encourage your children this week to share one thing each day that they are thankful for.
